  What a fantastic experience! The home is located in prime location just minutes from downtown St. Helena. Upon arrival, Karen greeted us with a quick tour of the house - stocked fridge, snacks and cookies all available to us! She left us to enjoy our weekend in her very comfortable home. We will definitely be back!

  Karen's place is as great, if not better, than it looks in the pictures. Karen is such a fantastic host and does so many things to make your stay comfortable - fresh flowers, breakfast, etc. The views from the yard are amazing and the house is in a fantastic location - it is quiet and secluded but minutes from many many truly great wineries.   Karen's home is a lovely little oasis tucked in the St. Helena hills. The house is comfortable and spacious and the garden area is so peaceful. She even leaves you breakfast foods and coffee to enjoy in the mornings. I didn't get a chance to meet Karen myself but she was extremely quick to respond to any of my texts or emails. I would recommend staying here if you need a blissful escape from a fast-paced lifestyle.

  Karen is a great host. Her sweet cottage is lovely, very easy to walk in and immediately feel right at home. Everything you need to make your stay is provided. Tastefully and comfortably decorated and you will enjoy relaxing in every nook and cranny. Shall we dine on the deck, relax under the apple tree, get some sun on the upper patio or veg in the sunroom? Maybe we will just laugh around the fireplace... So many choices.   Four of us (two couples) stayed at Karen's Country Cottage in April. The home is up in the hills east of St. Helena in a very nice secluded setting. It is quiet and very restful. The location is close many of the wineries of Napa Valley and is an easy drive to all Napa Valley areas. Fortunately the weather was very nice for all three days we were there.   This was quite a find for our family! The location is serene, quiet, and lush. A 10 minute drive to downtown St. Helena, so much to do. The home was warm, and our host Karen so amazingly accommodating and friendly. This is definitely our spot for future trips to the Napa Valley area. Thanks again Karen!

  What a lovely home! No detail was left undone! There were 5 of us and we had space to spare. The home was centrally located thus we were able to visit many wineries in the 3 days that we had. Great restaurants and cute shops abound in St. Helena, Yountville and Callistoga. Rent this place, you will be glad you did!

  Karen was an amazingly warm and generous host during our stay in her home. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable in her home! She even put in a sand box with seashells and a water pool for the kids, as well as stuffed animals and a horse saddle so the kids could play. There were lots of candles outdoors for warm evenings, a fire pit and firewood for the fireplace to keep us warm on rainy nights.   We were delighted when, after a flight and a drive to St. Helena, we walked into Karen's home and felt like we were at home. Who wanted to leave the house when everything was so cozy and accommodating. Blackie the cat gave us space and we gave him his, as he remained outside at all times. Thank you Karen for all the amenities like the fully stocked kitchen for cooking, comfortable beds and very clean house. We hope to be back.
