Hello, my name is Tara Lumpkin and my husband is Phillip Gibbs. We're based in Taos, NM, and are travelers. Currently, I am Project Director of a non-profit start-up called Izilwane. I am also Editor-in-Chief of Izilwane’s online magazine, which takes an anthropological approach to loss of biodiversity. I used to work for an environmental newspaper, High Country News, and have also been a consultant for groups such as UNICEF and Conservation International.
