As a designer, I am a big fan of Palm Springs. I always loved the midcentury "MadMen" style of the 60s, the esthetic of that iconic Neutra, Eames and Lautner era - and the beauty and serenity of the desert. It's a magic place, Palm Springs, far enough from the big city to relax and unwind - and still only two hours away from it. My life is very busy and hectic, and this is the place where I recharge my batteries, where I meet with friends. A short drive from LA and I'm in a lush sunny paradise with spectacular views and cocktails by the pool and dinner under starry skies.
