As a long time resident of NY, I've been living in NYC for the past 5 years, but grew up in the suburbs about 30 miles east on Long Island. Currently, I'm working as an Interior desinger / General Contractor with an emphasis on performing the finish work myself and crew.

After traveling all around the U.S.A. for a Sales job when I graduated college, I've learned a ton about the hotel business and traveling in general and have now decided to start a new venture to provide guests with excellent customer service and a beautiful apartment in the best city in the world, NYC!

My husband and I stayed at Bruce's pad for 1 week in May 2012. Booking this apartment was nice and easy and Bruce supplied plenty of additional information which was much appreciated. Bruce was there to meet us on arrival. He is a really easy-going guy and introduced us to the area and best places to eat. The fridge was stocked with fresh breakfast stuff and a couple of beers. BRUCE'S PLACE IS JUST AS DESCRIBED & EVEN BETTER. TREMENDOUS LOCATION AS IT'S THE END UNIT ON THE 1ST FLOOR OF A LOVELY COUTYARDED TWO BUILDING COMPLEX WITH A DOOR LEADING DOWN TO A LOVELY EAST VILLAGE GARDEN. IT WAS VERY QUIET AND THE APARTMENT HAD EVERYTHING NEEDED. THE EAST VILLAGE HAS CHANGED DRAMATICALLY FROM MY MEMORIES IN THE MID-80'S. SO SAFE NOW. The appartment is simply amazing with many comfortable beds. Very clean; the maid was actually finishing up when we arrived. Bruce made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and even had a beer waiting for us in the fridge. The location is great! Smack dab in the middle of Alphabet City, there is an amazing terrasse on the rooftop with a stunning view of the NYC skyline. Among others, I would strongly recommend a stay at Bruce's place to anyone who likes to enjoy the NYC nightlife.

Bruce was able to fit in my reservation for a last minute trip to New York and it worked out beautifully. He was there to greet me and had stocked the fridge with a perfect breakfast. The place was clean and the location in the east village can't be beat, full of great restaurants, up-and-coming arts scene (New Museum, 11 Rivington Gallery and Dodge Gallery among some of them). Appartement idéal pour un couple avec enfants ou adolescents. Ils partageront alors le canapéconvertible. Situé à 10 mns à pieds du métro et juste à côté d'un parc pour enfants, il est très calme. Buanderie au sous sol avec de nombreux lave linges (2,25 $) et seche linges (0,25 $ les 6 minutes). Commerces à proximité ainsi que de nombreux restaurants. Bruce est charmant et cherche à rendre agréable le séjour. Appartement à recommander++++

Bruce is a really easy-going guy and is really close if you need any help. The apartment is dynamite. Tons of space. Great rooftop overlooks the three bridges. And the East Side / LES is WHERE IT'S AT. With Tompkins Park nearby and a bevy of bars and coffee shops, you don't even have to leave the hood to enjoy a satisfying time in NYC. No doubt, next time we hit the Big Apple, we're booking with Bruce again

A great location, host and apartment! My wife and I stayed for a week in winter and had a wonderful time. Bruce met us at the apartment and introduced us to the area. Everything was "as advertised". I couldn't recommend the place enough for people wanting to experience the "real" New York. There's so many places to drink, eat and shop within walking distance. Apartment is in a great location, seemed safe, and was far away enough from the hustle and bustle, but only a 10-15 or so min walk to the closest subway stations. Area had everything you needed if you didn't feel like venturing too far for groceries etc. Only thing that really could be fixed would be the supply of blankets, they were a bit tatty, with holes and some of the sheets had stains. We had a great stay at the Best Weston! The East Village has loads of cool bars and restaurants to visit and Bruce was a fantastic host who gave us lots of good recommendations for the area.

Booking this apartment was nice & easy & the pictures were spot on. It was a 30th birthday present from myself to my boyfriend & am so happy with our stay. When we arrived in the East Village apartment, the doorman was very helpful & called Bruce to come meet us. Meeting Bruce was a pleasure, he was friendly, helpful & the apartment had everything we could possibly need....he'd also filled the fridge with OJ, Bagels, milk & beer.
