I stayed at Katarina's apartment for around a month from November 18th 2011.
My arrival was good, and although I didn't get to meet Kat, she arranged for someone to meet me at the apartment to give me the keys. The taxi fare was $120, so not the cheapest, mainly because it was interstate from JFK.

Clean and perfect location, 5 minutes walking to Rockefeller Center. Times Square is available 20-30 minutes walking.
It's good for 2 people (I don't suggest 3 people). The subway is at 2 blocks distance, perfect line (6) to visit all the most important places.

We've stayed in the appartment for 11 days and had a great time! Everything was very clean and looked exactly as seen in the pictures! We were always able to contact our hostess and she even made a very late check-in possible!

This flat is absolutely awesome: huge and clean. Location is perfect, 5 minutes in walking distance from appartment is one of the most beautiful views of Manhattan. Times Square is available 15-20 minutes by bus. There is also Deli in the building and liquor store close by. This is perfect place for 3 - 4 people and I would definitelly stay there again.
Kat's apartment was clean, well equipped, roomy and in all respects exactly as described and pictured.
Kat and her partner were both immensely helpful and friendly and although I had little time to explore Union City it struck me as perfectly safe and welcoming with plenty of shops and places to eat within easy walking distance.
I wouldn't hesitate to use this apartment again if visiting the New York or New Jersey area.
My family stayed at 600 Harbor Blvd while I was running the NYC marathon. The travel time into NYC was exactly as described as were the pictures of the accommodation. Whenever I had any questions the host was very easy to contact. Great value for a big party going to NYC!

i stayed at Kat's place with my family for 7 days and everything went great. the view is amazing. the kitchen and the living room were very comfortable for us. the rooms are spacey ... we went by the bus to Manhattan every day with no problems. no need to take the ferry (costs more money and dont get you as closed to the subway as the bus) we really enjoyed our stay.
very nice, new and clean apartment. is really huge with a lot of space for comfortable living. all appliances are new, apartment is very close to the manhattan, buses every 10-15 minutes to the port authority terminal at 42 nd street manhattan. and from there by subway everywhere in NYC. bus stop is cca 5 minutes by walk from the apartment and ride takes cca 15 to 20 minutes. only one minus of transportation is that buses are not part of MTA so you can not use metrocard.

Kat's apartment was great, very cozy and comfortable. Great location, it was a quiet area but also had that great city feel. Pretty close to everything you needed in the area. This is a good sized apartment that looks just like the photos. The location is very good. The apartment is very clean. One issue is there is no windown you can open at night when you are sleeping, only the rear door out to the fire escape, so it can get warm and stuffy. Kat responded to all out queries and overall the stay was good.
Our stay at Kat's place near the UN was convenient and a great value for NYC. She was extremely responsive and very accommodating with check-in/check-out times.
I stayed at NYC for two days. Kat's place is perfect for 3 people to share. Perfect location, clean and neat room and well priced. A food market just cross the street. Many small bars and restaurants nearby. 2 blocks from the subway and walking distance to MoMA and fifth AVE.HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend if you plan a short stay at NYC.

The apartment is quite beautiful; equipment matches the description. Everything was clean and fully functional. Internet via WiFi was flawlessly available. We won an upgrade to a much larger apartment in the same neighborhood and better located, the value of $ 3.20 bus was not a big problem because the host had said it cost $ 2.50 and I got to take only 10 minutes Manhattan apartment to the bus!

We stayed in UN view for three studio. It's very nice, cozy and quiet, exactly as shown in the pictures. Great view of UNHQ and Trump World Tower, it's perfect to explore NYC. The subway is 5 minutes away and neighborhood is great for nightlife.

Stayed at Studio located in Union City, NJ for New Year's Eve weekend. It really does take about 15 minutes total of a walk & bus to get to Times Square. When you get off the bus, you are exactly 1 block away from Times Square. Very convenient if you're on a budget trip to NYC and want that Manhattan experience. we had a great time in the Kat's place! the place is in very central so you can walk to everywhere. the room was so quiet because it's facing the back yard. we couldn't meet her but she was very responsibility emailed me back quickly every time. when the bed had something wrong she fixed it immediately. we would like to come back here for sure.

The apartment was exactly as advertised and exactly what we had hoped for! The location in Greenwich Village was perfect, in easy walking distance to dozens of cool bars, cozy coffee shops, restaurants, NYU, Union Square and public transportation. Kat was a very welcoming and accommodating hostess, and the apartment is even nicer, cleaner, and more comfortable than the photos. There is a terrific view of city lights each evening, yet lots of visual privacy for the studio itself. Both my husband and I appreciated the location in a safe, higher-end neighborhood, that is convenient to many sites and transportation. Thanks to Kat and her family for everything!

Kat was great to work with, even when our plans changed last minute due to weather delays. The apartment was clean (for NYC at least -- there were bugs, but always are) and was exactly as promised. Great location, close to the trains and lots to do in the village.
Almost better than expected. The apartment at Boulevard East was fantastic, just like it says in the ad, with just ten minutes with bus for only 2,50 dollars to Midtown Manhattan. Kat was a great host, and we could text and mail her or her brother anytime we had something to ask.
The Greenwich Village studio was exactly as advertised, close to EVERYTHING you could want, private, full size bathroom and comfortable bed. Also easy to sleep at night, noise was not an issue. Will definitely stay there again.

I loved the location. It's very central. Lots of restaurants nearby. Subway station is very close. Just keep in mind that b/c it's so central, it's a little loud. I personally feel that's a price worth paying for being so close to everything.

The apartment was extremly high quality finish. Seemed brand new. It was a stylish Design, clean, Large with two double bedrooms plus extra single bed in master bedroom.

We were very happy with the apartment. It's in a good location - not too far from the subway. There were four of us staying there and while the apartment's more suited to 2 or 3 people the 4 of us manage fine and we had enough space. the sofa bed may not the most comfortable in world! - we didn't have any sleepless nights either! We were satisfied with the studio in NYC. It is very well located near the main touristic attractions, and the subways is easy to reach (within 5 minutes walking).

Kat's little house in Split was amazing It surpassed all my expectations. The Location is undeniably the best! The house itself is split into 3 floors,the ground has the kitchen and bathroom, only disappointed with no kettle so making tea took awhile! i recommend investing in one. Kat was timely and resourceful in all of our communications. The studio was in a very convenient location for touring NYC. It was also appropriately priced especially since we needed accomodations for a family of 4. The accomodations were very basic but clean. Be prepared to bring your own paper products eg; toilet paper, paper towels. Also, bring soap, wash cloths and towels if you are staying more than a few days.
We stayed for a night in this fabulous little studio on May 29th. It is beautifully set up and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay, in a perfect location right in the old town, a really short walk from everything. We enjoyed our stay at the studio. There was easy subway access and the apartment was clean with a nice, small kitchen, and a clean bathroom. The only downside was that there was no internet in the apartment as advertised, and Kat was unable to get it working for us while we were there.
Kat was a great host. The studio was perfect for us. It's located on a square in the middle of old town, close to the open market, shops and sea.
