I can only echo the other positive comments about this accommodation. I mainly dealt with Sharyn, who was kind, thoughtful and went out to buy honey for my sore throat. Lovely hosts and a great room with private bath up on the third floor of their house with a common stair case. The bed is very comfortable and the room has lots of light. The location is also unbeatable in a quiet street but very close to Davis square with lots of shops, restaurants and subway stop.

Davis Square room is perfectly located. It's a 5 minute walk to the subway. The room is nice and comfortable. Sharyn is a nice, friendly, easygoing person. She gave us a lot of tips regarding places to eat, shop or go to. On Saturday morning she brought us up a huge plateful of muffins and scones that she just baked which was really nice of her. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, thanks Sharyn!

Great stay. Lovely big room with very comfortable bed and ceiling fan (and air con if you like that sort of thing). Sharyn and Matthias were super friendly and helpful - we were very grateful to be able to do some washing as we had a baby in tow, and having a kettle and microwave was great too. Neighbourhood is lovely and really quick and easy to get into Boston. We would definately recommend this place. Thanks guys!

This was a place to stay for the 2 nights thst we did. It was super close to great eateries and the train. Other then that, it was ok. First impression of walking in with a ton of shoes all over the stairs (we almost fell a few times) was unflaterring. There is plenty of room in the room to put the microwave and such so that you didn't have to go into a dirty laundry room. Secondly, shouldn't call it a BNB if there isn't a breakfast!!! Matthias & Sharyn's place is great! The room is huge and the bed is very comfortable, you also have pretty much total privacy on the 3rd floor (including your own bathroom.) The house is in a really nice street in Somerville, within walking distance of Harvard Square and many other good places. They were great hosts, their place is really nice, and Somerville exceeded our expectations-- really pretty with great restaurants. Our only regret is that we didn't book more time there and didn't get to schmooze with our hosts as much as we would have liked. We plan to remedy that mistake next time.

Great value for the two rooms on the third floor of their home! Excellent location near the T (and hence the rest of Boston) and clean quiet rooms. Sharyn was extremely hospitable and even helped us find a babysitter so my husband and I could enjoy a night at the Pops without our daughters.

The room was large, the bed was impressively comfortable (nice and firm, with good cotton sheets), the bathroom was spotless, and the guest rooms are in a private area separate from the family's space. It is a 5 minute walk from the Davis subway stop (even in heels!) and I felt very safe walking through the neighborhood regardless of the time of night. This is my favorite place to stay in the Boston area! The hosts, Sharyn & Matthias, are super sweet and helpful. The Sielber's place is wonderful and Sharyn is an unbelievably sweet hostess. The room is spacious but cozy with great views and right off of Davis Square with lots to do.
