This apartment was really great! Very, very small, but plenty big enough for one person. There's a bed, TV (no DVD or anything), closet, a couple of drawers, stove (no oven), microwave, dishes, pots, pans, silverware, washer/dryer, sink, a couple of mirrors, shower, toilet (in a separate room across the hall, but that wasn't a problem). We had a perfect few days at no.58! The apartment had everything we could have wished for, the sofa bed was all made up and waiting for us when we arrived!

Perfect location for getting to work at Porte De Versailles, and easy to get home when in Le Marais in the evenings.
We only noticed noise from the bars beneath on the Friday night, and it was still fine for sleeping.

My friend and I stayed 5 nights a couple of weeks ago at this apartment. The apartment is clean and Patrick's directions for accessing the apartment were easy to follow. Overall my stay was great except that it does become noisy at night because of the bars/clubs below. I would recommend this place to my friends.
We were extremely happy in this amazing location, and felt very safe in the private, modern, and clean apartment. The extra blankets, closet and shelf space, and reliable WiFI were very much appreciated. Patrick replied quickly to my request to book the studio. The process of booking was very easy and he gave me all the information I needed. it was very comfortable for 4 of us (2 pre-teen children). my kids enjoyed staying at the place . we all sleep very well. the noise from the bar downstair doesn't bother us. overall, the place is warm, cozy and clean. the location is near to most attractions that we did all the walking.

We were only in Paris for a couple of days, and this location was ideal. Extremely close to the metro, and walking distance to SO many things. Depending on the evening the nightlife can be a bit loud outside, but other than that would definitely stay here again! It was just the place for us. Thanks Patrick!
This apartment is really cute and while compact it has everything that you need. It's in a great location with plenty of bars and restaurants handy. WIFI was a little hit and miss but overall a really good experience.
This apartment is in a great area with very easy access to the Metro. Walking distance to a lot of Paris highlights such as the Louvre and Notre Dame. It is a lot of stairs - with a 50 pound suitcase it was difficult but not so bad.

This is the perfect little apartment in the center of Paris. Stove top, fridge, TV, clothes washer, shower, and much of what you'd need to do basic cooking. The toilet is in the hall but two steps from the door.

Patrick' s apartment was great. It was in an excellent location surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafe's. There is a subway just a few meters up the road also. The host was prior to our arrival gave us all the relevant information we needed and contacted us regularly. Unfortunately the apartment is looking tired, worn & poorly kept.
There is a thick clustered black mould growing around the bottom of the shower & a plunger is kept near by so you can attempt to fix any blocked drainage & or the dysfunctional plug in bathroom sink. To which the owner will recommend you do, if & when he replies to your message.

Good location - central to many venues and the underground Metro. We didn't know how to use the magnetic pass and couldn't reach Patrick by phone or email. Luckily, after waiting about an hour, one of the tenants showed us how to get into the second floor door. He was one of our Paris angels!

The area can be a little noisy at night as it is filled with tons of bars and restaurants, but overall the experience was very good. The apartment was clean and there were fresh linens left out for us. The space is great for 3 people and the location is very central with good access to the metro and tons of tourist sights.
Great location and reasonably priced but not without some flaws. Our main concern was the noise coming up from the local bars and neighbours. If you don't intend to spend too much time in the apartment you'll be ok, but don't forget to pack some earplugs!

This apt is in an excellent location. Jazz beneath you and history all around you! It has laundry and a small kitchen. While the area is extremely touristy, you feel as if you live in the heart of Paris without too much noise. It is close to Notre Dame, safe walking even at night. Close to the metro and many museums and sites. We were very pleased. You share a toilet on the floor but it was never an issue for us.
I wish I could leave 4.5 stars (instead of 4). The apartment is excellent, in a wonderful, central and convenient location...minutes walk to the Louvre. As it is on a busy street with jazz clubs, the noise at night would be expected, I had ear plugs and slept soundly anyway. The only factor that bothered me was that I was not sure if the bedding was thoroughly washed. The blanket did not have a sheet under it so I wondered if the blanket had been washed from the previous occupant.
Very central apartment, close to all major attractions in Paris. apartment had all we required. Only concern was at the difficulty we would have in exiting the building in case of fire, no way to escape safely.
My 2 friends and I stayed here from September 5-11, 2011. Patrick and I had been communicating here and there prior to our arrival, and he always answered my questions and was extremely helpful. In addition, he let us check in as soon as we arrived instead of us having to wait around for 2pm. Location! Location! Location! The place is small, but you cannot beat the location. We walked everywhere from here, only rode the metro once to visit friends in the outer parts of Paris.
While located in a busy walk way with many bars and cafes, the apartment is located away from all that and you do not hear any of it.
The washer dryer came in handy, after realizing I did not pack adequately.

Room faces a noisy street (not from the jazz club as the room faces the back side which is an African Salsa hangout.

We had a great stay here and would definitely stay again. The location was amazing and the apartment was perfect for what we wanted. The bed was allot more comfortable than I expected which was great.
The apartment was grand and in an excellent location. There was a crying child downstairs that stayed up VERY late every single night but otherwise, the place was great.
It's a nice apartment and we realy loved the location. 2 minutes walk to the Le Moulleau beach, pubs and restaurants. We rented bikes that we could park safely in the apartment building.
The sofabed was the only downside. We never got it totally flat, so had to sleep the wrong way round. The apartment could do with a better one. For the rest is was nice and clean.
I spent 2 nights here. Loved its proximity to the night life and tourist sites. It's close to the pharmacy, bank and market. Also close to restaurants and shopping area. Lovely small apartment in central Paris! It is close to the metro station (Chatelet/Les Halles) providing easy access to Paris attractions such as Centre Pompidou, Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral. The only bad thing is the shared toilet. Overall it was great for our needs and we would stay there again.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights. We expected a modest studio apartment but we chose it because of the price and location. The location could not be better- the surrounding area is great but also close to so many of the sights. For this reason the apartment really worked for us!

The studio in lompards is really cosy and supre convenient. You can experience lifestyle of a real parisien by the coded doors , the wind stairs, the separate toilet outside of living room, the lovely kitchen and of course , the atmosphere! My friend and I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It is in a wonderful and convenient location very close to the metro, supermarkets/pharmacies were close by and it was on the whole a very relaxing place to stay in Paris. Great location, definitely central! Cozy and had everything we needed. The fridge and washing machine came in very handy indeed, and there was washing detergent, utensils, dish and hand soaps, and some hangers. We had a great stay at the apartment. The time we spent in this apartment we will remember long time after! It's so nice, cozy flat has the best location in Paris (It is not an overstatement!): one of the cheapest and true-parisien restaurant is near, Rue de Montmantre and Bulvar de Montmantre will take you out to the Paris most known places: Louvre, Opera etc.

The apartmen is very nice and clean ,it's very good arroundsmet , everything is near ,you don't have to take a metro station (Notre Dam , Luvre , Place de Villle, etc) but if you have to,the metro is just 1 min away. I recomend this place , it's just great !

The apartment was in a wonderful location! About a 3 minute walk from the Chatalet metro station, 15 minutes from the Louvre, and 10 from Notre Dame.
The apartment was clean and looked just like the picture. The only thing that wasn't great was they only way to get a wifi connection was right outside in the hallway.
Place is really well-connected to all the Paris, metro station is two steps away and Velib' station is also nearby. Room is spaceous enough for two people, so you will not encounter any problems with it. Enjoyed our stay very much!
The apartment is in a great location, many doors and gates so we felt really safe in our place. The apartment is as advertised, it was clean and amenties were provided, had a great stay.
Our only issue was the lack of rubbish bin and the internet wasn't working, but those were minor things and I'm sure the host would have helped us out if I had contacted him.

We are family with 1,5years old daughter. As owners do not provide baby cot, we brought our own. There was enough space for it.
Apartment is small, but nice. The only disadvantage is toilet situated outside of the apartment.
I think it is ideal for tourists who don't want waste their time in the public transport. It is walking distance to all main historical attraction, we walked even to the Eiffel Tour.

This has got to be one of the best locations in Paris. You can walk to many tourist sites like the Louvre and Notre Dame. Downstairs are heaps of bars and great restaurants. When we arrived early we were informed that our contact host had the flu as did myself as a result of sitting too long on the top of the tourist bus arround London silly me ! but we were met by maria who procceeded to spruce up our appartment for us and then received us with no fuss whatever. At arrival, the apartment was clean dispite the bed sheets... rather unpleasant!

This is my 2nd time staying at this location, first time in this room (last time I stayed in the larger apartment). This room is PERFECT for 2 people. It is small but has just enough room/space to move around. At first I thought that having the restroom be outside of the room was going to be difficult, but it really wasn't since it is only 2 steps across your room.

Had some trouble with the door to the toilet for the first day because the string to open it was tucked in, but was able to pry it open with a knife. The location is hard to beat (for the price, 57 Eu/n). You are incredibly well located, good food in all price ranges in seemingly every direction. Notre Dame, and St. Chapelle are just across the bridge. Les Halles and the Louvre are also withing walking distance.

I stayed here for two weeks, and found the location to far outweigh the inconveniences. It was so easy to gwt around. The studio is just as described. It is a bit like going to the cottage-the toilet is in the hall, and everything is a little bit primitive. There are 57 steps up to the unit, so your fitness program is built in. The place was perfect for the four nights my boyfriend and I stayed in Paris, very clean and centraly located. We really liked Lombard street with all the jazz music, very lively at night, but definetly quite in the room so we slept well. As expected, the apartment is a little on the small side but was everything we desired for our trip to paris. Everything was clean and functional. Alix and his team were extremely helpful and accommodating, especially given the last minute booking we made!! The apartment was spacious, cozy, clean,and uniquely intimate, if a bit hard to find. The internet never quite worked properly, and if you were looking to cook, pots and pans were scarce. Also, could not find an ironing board/iron. For the price, an absolute steal in the heart of Paris and a pleasure to come home to every night (and the wonderful smells waking up!)
For the price of the apt,you really can't beat it. The location is great, there are plenty of shops, bars and restuarants within minutes. If you want to be in the center of the city and don't want to pay alot for a place, it's definitely worth it.

Alis is a great guy. The location of the apartment is nice, but the cleanness of the apartment isnt that great. We first had to open the windows to let some fresh air in, but then many bugs flew in, which caused a lot of bug bites on our skin. The apartment gets very noisy most of the time, in the morning, afternoon,, night, all through mid night, so we had to close all windows to eliminate the noise, but still, we could still hear the noise. But overall Alix is a really nice guy! :)
The apt is just near to Metro Chatelet so we could go and come back from anywhere very easily. The room is quite clean and well-organized except the drain of the shower room was little blocked. We stayed the third floor of the apt without the lift but it was okay. Alix is so friendly and he invited his Jazz bar and some drinks. And the live jazz concert was so great. We enjoyed staying a lot.

The location of the apartment can't be beat. It's right in the center of Paris-- you can walk to the Louvre, the Pompidou Centre, Notre Dame, and many other beautiful Paris landmarks in only a few minutes. In addition, the apartment is in a fun neighborhood. In fact, it's located above Alix's jazz club, so if you want to have a good Paris experience without going far, it's very convenient.
Great apartment, clean and loads of space. Could not be more central, literally 1 minute from Chatelet metro which was great for us as we were traveling all over Paris for work. Area is very lively, we had no problems mid-week but I would bring earplugs if you're staying at the weekend. Alix asks for a security deposit which was very promptly returned after our stay. Will definitely stay again.

The location is hard to beat. Alix is a good guy, and the bar downstairs is a good place for a nightcap. I agree with previous comments about the internet, which is spotty, but aside from that it's hard to complain. I didn't find the noise to be problematic. Three of us stayed comfortably. Recommended.
Alix establishment was in the heart of the city with excellent restaurants, coffee shops and bars within walking distance. We walked to the Louvre, Notre Dame and many other attractions. The apartment was clean, spacious and as mention above in an excellent location. The WIFI was key and living in an apartment gave you the feel that you were more of a Parisian versus a tourist. I would highly recommend that you stay at one of Alix's places.

This central Paris apartment is conveniently located to some of the great Paris landmarks such as Notre Dame, Louvre and Musee du Pompidou. The area is great for music venues and cafes.
The apartment is large with plenty of sleeping room, an up-to-date bathroom and a well appointed kitchen. Even though the street below is hopping in the evenings, noise was never a problem.

Cute apartment with great location. Great place to party all night. Only complaint was the bath towels were very old and worn out. They need to invest in newer towels for the bath. Would stay there again.
Book it! The apartment was clean, in a great location, and safe. The directions Alix provided couldn't have been better. We kept wondering what the catch was with the apartment and still haven't found one. Highly recommend it. Alix was easy to communicate with and very quick with his responses.

Me and my girlfriend we were there for a week in July,and i must say that the apartment it's in a very central location.You can basically reach every attractions of Paris easily by feet or gettin the underground.The studio is very small but full furnished,perfect for a young couple on a budget.Not noisy at all despite the central position and the jazz clubs in the street.The bed is very comnfortable and the kitchen little but useful.You can't get better at this price! This was the best apartment we stayed at. For four people, this place is amazing. The location is perfect. It only takes a five minute walk to get to the Pompidou Centre and the Notre Dame. The Louvre is also very close. If you are looking for sites, this apartment has it all, and for the price, it is a steal. No hotel will accommodate you as well for the price in the area. lovely apartment, great location, clean and comfortable, we had a wonderful first visit to Paris! Only thing was internet was very weak. Other than that no complaints! With the windows closed we did not find it too noisy despite being the weekend.

Great experience -- location was great, within walking distance to just about everything. 1 bedroom was spacious and recently renovated. Had a nice kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and more. Alix was a great host.

Nice little apartment, awesome location central to everything. Sofa bed was really comfy and welcomed after walking all day sightseeing! As mentioned by others, it would be helpful if there were some pots for cooking. Great shower and the private toilet is located just outside the door. Would definately recommend to other travellers wanting to stay in central Paris on a budget.
Fabulous location. Great and spacious apartment. A little noisy at night but with double glazed windows - not too much of a problem! Would stay there again!

Apartment was great. Bathroom great, kitchen great. Bed great. Noise at night great. Difficult to sleep at all. If apt. had a/c then you could close window and shut out most of the noise, but no a/c.
Alix was a great host and the apartment was amazing! You couldn't ask for a better location. To clarify a few of the previous guests' comments...the wifi is a free wifi service that requires a user name and password. It doesn't keep you logged on if you go idle but you can access it in most of Paris if you have a mobile device. Also you can push the beds together but there is a small gap because the beds are recessed in the frame.
Great location! It really can't be beat. It is seconds away from the Metro and in a very lively neighbourhood. It can be a bit noisy at night but nothing that would keep you awake for long.

Staying at Alix's apartment was great! It's in a perfect location and was very comfortable while we stayed in Paris. It is a great place for 2 friends or a couple. We would definitely love to stay there again if we come back to Paris.
The apartment is in a lively central Paris location, very close to bars/cafes/clubs and shops. It is clean and nicely furnished. A good place to stay if you like nightlife and don't mind a little noise. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They own the Jazz cafe below the flat so are always around if you need to ask anything. We had a lovely stay at the apartment and would recommend it.

My friend and I stayed there for 3 days. The apartment has a bathroom attached though the toilet is shared - outside on the same floor. Great location. It was right in the center of Paris, surrounded by shops and restaurants . It's about 5 minutes stroll to the nearest metro station. Very convenient to get to places of interests in Paris. The apartment was very roomy and it was clear that a lot of effort had been put into making it a comfortable space. We were able to cook full meals in the kitchen, rather than just snacks. The location was perfect to get around during the day. The one warning I would provide is that the noise from bars downstairs can be quite loud late into the night over the weekend. If you do not intend to go out yourself at night this should probably be taken into account.

Sorry to be late with this review, I've been on the road until recently. The accommodations were a bit spartan, reminding me of my student dorm in Paris: two 'réchauds' and the toilet in the hallway. But there was a fridge, and the shower was very clean and modern. I stayed there for 3 nights and everything was great. The most prominent reason to stay there is the location. It's centrally located and some major attractions are just within 10-20 minutes away by foot. The room is clean and the good thing is that it comes with a kitchenette where you can cook with your own leisure. Definately will recommend for others!

The house is located very central, the underground station is only one minute walk and the area is full of bars and restaurants.

Alix was very easy to deal with and welcoming. The apartment was great -- spacious and ideal for two people. Be aware, though, there are two twin beds that can't really be pushed together. Location was fantastic, right in the center of Paris and 5 minutes from the Metro. Kind of noisy at night, and no lift in the building, but an overall great place to stay. Alix also owns the jazz club on the ground floor, looks like a cool place to hang out.
My mom and I had a great time staying here! The place was very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything including, towels, pots and pans for cooking, and even a washing machine! The place was a super value for money (Great for us budget travelers!) - it was within a minute away from the Chatelet metro station, Notre Dame and Louvre are within 15 minutes walking distance or less and you can also walk to Eiffel and Champs Elysees. Make no mistake this apartment is tiny but still plenty of room for all your needs and bigger the a hotel room that cost 3 times as much. It was very clean. Wow! This place was truly incredible. My friend and I stayed four nights. We kept waiting for there to be a catch or something shady about the apartment, but there never was. It's just a lovely, clean apartment in the true middle of everything.
Alix was extremely nice and helped us bring our bags up, even. He works at the bar below, so it is rarely hard to find him. At the end of our stay, he promptly returned the deposit with no problems.

This place is a bargain indeed. It is centrally located with plenty of shops in the vicinity and nearby two Metro stations - Les Halles and Chatelet. On our first day in Paris, we walked to Louvre and early next morning, we took a walk along the river to Notre Dame. The room itself is cosy, but comfortable enough for two of us. The kitchenette came in handy too, we utilised it to make hot drinks and cook our dinner. Good location at a bargain price.

The apartment is very central which meant walking anywhere was relatively easy-the notre dame was a mere 15 minute stroll away- the metro was also on the door step and much more affordable than the London tube! Although there was a little noise from the street below until the early hours the apartment suited our needs exactly-i will defiantly be visiting again and recommending this flat to others!
We would recommend this apartment in Paris. It is right in the heart of Paris near Notre Dame and the Chatelet metro stop. The apartment was great for 3 people or 2 and very clean and well kept. It is in Central Paris and you are within walking distance from the Louvre, wonderful shops on Rue de Rivoli, the Seine, and Notre Dame. The Metro is on the same block and this particular station has the most connecting trains so it makes it easy to travel around all of Paris. I stayed here for about 4 nights. Everything was great including the service which they were very accommodating of my last minute needs. Clean, good amenities and even though this was 3 stories above a Jazz club, I slept like baby (this coming from a light sleeper). Within walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame Church...eating, dinning and the Metro. I will probably stay here again next time I'm in Paris. Check them out.
I had a great stay in this apartment. It is extremely central, and is clean & large, and we had a very easy time picking up & returning the keys. We did find it a little loud at times, but that's the tradeoff for right in the middle of the nightlife! I would definitely stay here again.
