Chad was a great host. He was very accommodating and made it work although it was a last minute booking. The place is really cozy and clean. Also, in a great location -- a short distance from the metro line and walkable to a number of bars and restaurants. Chad was also nice enough to leave a list of nearby places to check out which came in handy since it was my first time in NY. The only thing to note is that the lock can be a bit tricky the first few times. Overall, it was a nice apartment... More »
Chad's place is perfect and Chad is a wonderful host. He emailed ahead of time and left a printed list of places to check out, WiFi info, and how to use the TV. I know it sounds silly, but that matters when you don't to juggle 3 remotes and hidden electronics.
The apartment was clean, the bed was cozy, the bathroom was perfect and the kitchen was usable and stocked (Chad gave us free reign). To be honest, we didn't know what to expect from it, but it felt like home.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Chad's place for a couple of days. Chad has done a great job of decorating! It's a lovely space - clean, cozy, and pretty quiet...all in a fantastic location. Chad was great to work with - easy going, responsive and even flexed the check-in/check-out timings to suit our schedule. He'd also left us a great list of nearby restaurants/bars and even stocked the fridge. I would definitely stay at his place again.
Chad was the perfect guest. He keep me informed about his arrival and departure and this was much appreciated. SXSW kept Chad extremely busy and ,by now, I'm certain he's hard at work in N.Y. applying everything he learned while the conference.
