For the first time we booked our accommodation with Airbnb. We were very excited about our trip and how the apartment would be. Our host Cindy provided us in advance with all important information and directions from the airport to the apartment. Nice and clean apartment. Near to train stations that can take you to many places. Cultural neighborhood but it is safe. The host was very helpful so ask if you need any assistance or request during your stay.

Cindy was a very supportive and professional host. As soon as I completed the booking she got in touch with me to organise my stay at her apartment. The flat is simple but very clean, tidy and nice - it was exactly what we were looking for. A big advantage is also the metro station close by. It is a two min walk to catch subway 1 downtown - I highly recommend staying at hers!

Great spot in Hamilton Heights/Harlem. Just down the block from the 1 station, and about 3-4 blocks west of the other subway lines. Apartment was clean, comfortable, and though we didn't cook much the kitchen had most of what was needed (sans toaster). We stayed in the middle room, good for a couple without tons of luggage. Cindy was nice enough to provide an iron when asked. Felt safe even walking home late at night. Sylvia's is about a half hour walk or 10 min cab ride away, best soul food! :)

Cindy's place is the best! As promised everything was clean, in order and private. Cindy was extremely courteous and her attitude was awesome considering I arrived at 5AM! I will definetely stay at Cindy's again and highly recommend her pad . There was a cleaning fee that some believed was high, but seriously people, as a native New Yorker, do you really think you're going to stay for a weekend in New York City for anywhere under $250? Unless it's with family, I don't think so.

My stay here was very good. The apartment is very close to the number 1 subway and if you switch to the express 2 on 96st street, you can get anywhere in town very fast. Note: Once you're buzzed in, you need to go through the two first doors, go right, then through two more doors and then take the stairs, NOT the stairs that you get to by going through the first two doors, walking straight to the end of the hall and turning left! Room was just as described, very clean. Bathroom was very clean as well. Great location, neighborhood. Cindy was extremely hospitable and friendly and my friend/I would definitely stay there again ^__^

I stayed at Cindy's apt for 5 days. First of all, the location is good, only 5 minutes walking distance to Line 1 station at Broadway/145 St. Secondly, Wifi connection is good as well. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided free but only one towel for my five-day stay. the place was great and very clean (very important to me) there wasn't really anyone staying there when i was there.... so it was very private during my stay. the proximity to the subway is very convenient. one thing i would suggest is to confirm ALL the info. wasn't the host's fault, the site listed the wrong address and telephone number... you want to avoid that. simple fix - just ask cindy

Staying at Cindys Place was a very good decision. We very much enjoyed our time there. It is not expensive even though the cleaning fee is quite high. The check-in and out times were very flexible because Cindys assistant lives in the same building. The metro is 2 minutes walking distance and it takes about 20 minutes to go downtown. I would stay there again.

Perfekt experience to stay in Cindy apartment. Peaple around wery friendly, nice clean and so close to subway not even 3 min. Cindy was taking care before and during my stay in NY . Wifi connection was for me very important and happy with roommate we got a lot of fun about our experience in NYC. I can fully recommend Cindy's apartment. Whenever I'll be stay in New York am gonna use this apartment again .

This was a great place to stay. Location: Top notch. It's less than a 5 minute walk to a major subway station w/ 4 different line options, which makes getting around Manhattan exceedingly easy. The appartment was nice and clean and had everything we needed. It was a bit outside from downtown manhattan, but with the subway you are at times square in 30 minutes. Cindy was very nice and kept in contact. Be aware that there is a 60 dollar cleaning fee, which is a little much if you ask me, because the cleaning lady only came once while our 3 night stay. All in all at was a good experience though and I would recommend it.

I enjoyed my stay at Cindy’s place. The appartment was great and clean. The room (middle size) was clean and cozy (there is a big and comfortable bed). Cindy's appartment was great, very clean and comfortable. There's everything you need. Towels are at your disposition. The flat was clean up during our stay. A good place for relax after a long day of walk. The location is practical with subway 1and bus at 2 min by walk, around the corner, and the subway C and D less than 10 min. The room was very small but clean and cozy. I had big and very comfortable bed. The apartment is nice, there you have everything you might need in kitchen, great bathroom, also there is a WiFi access and TV in your room. House is very close to subway station, just about 2-3 minutes walk. It takes about 25 minutes subway ride to get to Times square and about 2 hours to JFK by subway and transfer to LIRR train.

My family of 5 stayed in the apartment, 2 adults 3 kids. It had enough beds and had everything we needed. Cindy was really helpful and so was her assistant. Everything in the apartment was brand new. They had obviously just done a renovation of the apartment. We were very conveniently located near the subway and downtown. Cindy's place was great. Checking in was quick and easy, and the apartment was just as described. The building is quiet and quite accessible. The only reason for the lack of a star is that Cindy's realtor dropped in unannounced to show the place, not knowing that it was occupied. Lack of communication I guess. Otherwise, though, the place was perfect.

Clean, quiet, and just a hop to the subway. Everything you need at a very reasonable price. You can sometimes hear neighbors but they were never loud. I stayed for a week and liked coming home to a comfortable space. Linens and bed were comfortable, bathroom was very nice with an excellent shower. take it from a hypercritical person, this apt is everything positive that's been said about it: quiet, clean, accessible. Cindy has made it perfect. I had the whole apartment to myself. It was very clean, quiet neighbourhood and the subway is less than 5 mins away. She was a good host and very accomendating to when I was arriving and leaving. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends.

It's an adorable apartment. The pictures you see of it are accurate. The building is very well located around the subway station, a nice park, a pharmacy, restaurants and delis. The building is clean and quiet, just what you need to relax after a long day going out. Also, Cindy was a great host and made everything easy for me. The apartment is very nice, clean and the building is very quiet. We were only a block away from the subway. Cindy was a great host, she was always available and made the process very easy. I would tell anyone going to nyc to check this place out before thinking of a hotel. We got to live like New Yorkers for 4 days and saved over $500.

Everything that has been said in the reviews is true. It is conveniently located to the subway and it is great to walk down through the park where ever you need to go in the city. Cindy is a great host and very accommodating. The walls are thin but the building is very quiet and it was not an issue. Truly you can not beat it for $85 a night.

You do have the whole 1BR apartment by yourself!! The apartment is very clean and nice. It's vey convenient too: half block away is the subway (C and B/D), which takes me less than 20 mins to get to Lincoln Center. Because my working schedule, I had to arrive NYC very late and leave very early, and Cindy is a very considerate host. She made the check in/out process very convenient for me. I highly recommend it.

The apartment was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The location was great and the five blocks it took to get to central park made it all worth it. I had no problem with facilities, getting to-and-fro in a cab or train, and enjoyed a nice bed with a hot shower. I will definitely rent again.

We had a lovely stay at Cindy's APT. Priced right, we found it to be clean, cozy and inviting. Nice building in a culturely diverse neighborhood. Just one block from the subway, it was very convenient. Comfy bed! We could not figure out the heat as the APT was very warm (in late Fall), but nothing that a cracked window couldn't fix. Cindy's apartment was lovely. The neighbourhood was quite so I was able to get a good night sleep (not to mention the bed was really comfortable). I had the whole apartment to myself so that was really handy. And the subway station is just around the corner. For $85 a night, you cant beat this for value.

We stayed for 4 days @$85 a night which is a great price for an entire apartment in manhattan. Be aware that there is a $60 cleaning charge as well. The location is good - only 3 min walk to central park and right next to subway. There is not a lot of touristy things near the apartment, but a 15min subway ride gets you pretty much anywhere in manhattan so that is great.
