Exactly what we were looking for. Roomy for 3 adults, affordable, quiet, and the breakfast was perfect. Couldn't ask for better hostess! Hope to be back again... our first "airbnb" experience has made us believers!
Val was a really wonderful hostess. I was walking to see some friends near her home. It was lightly raining and she insisted that she drive me there so I wouldn't get wet.

This place is great. The private bathroom is really nice, and Val and her daughter are wonderful. They even let me catch a ride with them downtown. Definitely would stay again.
We can't say enough about Val and our great accommodations. We were traveling with our 9 and 7 year old daughters and were so happy to have a large space to hang out in at night. Val is so very friendly and welcoming. Much to my husband's delight, she even provided us with blueberry muffins, fresh fruit and orange juice for breakfast! I could not have been more impressed with Val's place and hospitality. She and her daughter were accommodating of my group's changes in check-in time. The room was much more than we expected -- spotless and spaciously fitting my group of three. Val made an information packet for us detailing DC's favorite restaurants and attractions, and offered juice and fruit for us during our stay. We spent three nights at Val's place and we could not be more satisfied. Val was a great host: she contacted us in advance to know our plans and check our needs, and made sure during our stay that we had everything we needed.
The room was huge, with its own bathroom and all the amenities we needed: wifi, tv, water, fruit. Even though it is a B&B we had all the privacy and flexibility we needed.

My 5 and 7 year old sons and I stayed 3 nights at Val's place in DC in her cozy family room unit. The family room was beautiful, immaculately clean, and truly cozy-- my 5 year old loved the walls so much ( felt soft to the touch) that he wanted to ask Val to trade for something of ours! Val has a beautiful house and is such a sweet person. The house is very close to 16th Street, and is located in a beautiful neighborhood. The house is very clean and neat.
