  Jane and Earl are incredibly gracious hosts. The apartment is spacious, welcoming, and has a lot of character. The location to downtown Hartford could not be better with free parking on a side street. I am so glad to have met and be staying with Jane and Earl during my visits to Hartford. Bill

  Jane and Earl were great. Great! I felt right at home. I stayed on the futon right off the alcove. It is semi-private, but I still felt I had my own space. They both left before I woke up and I never was disturbed. Almost wish I wasn't moving into my apartment so I could continue bunking with them. Though they may cringe knowing I'm just a few blocks away. I found street parking right outside their place on the side street and left it there Monday night through Friday morning without ever...   Gorgeous, unique apartment. I stayed here for four nights to attend a conference; it was an easy walk to downtown. No difficulty with street parking. Jane and Earl were very friendly and attentive. I plan on coming back.

  Jane and Earl surpassed all my expectations! They are seriously awesome down to earth people. I was offered great hospitality with free range of the kitchen to cook and store food and a half bath all to myself! Mille and Sally, their dog and cat, are absolutely adorable and friendly. I cuddled with Sally on the very first night! They were even completely okay when I accidentally took the keys home to LA in my rush to the airport! GREAT STAY! I can't recommend them more, seriously. =)

  Very nice place and they were gracious enough to house my boyfriend and I in the wee hours of the morning for only a few hours on their futon. I only met Jane, but she was very nice and helpful! I would definitely recommend staying with them! :)

  This was my first Airbnb experience. Jane & Earl were the best host. Friendly, laid back and hassle free. Totally made me feel like at home right away. Definitely recommend booking with them.

  Jane and Earl were great hosts. They were flexible about our arrival time and very communicative. Their apartment is beautiful and they have a friendly, quiet dog and cat. We stayed in the bedroom and were very comfortable. The location was great - walking distance to everything downtown. Parking on the street was easy. We would certainly stay again.
