  absolutely gorgeous apartment in a beautiful, historic Vancouver neighborhood. There are some lovely shops & restaurants within walking and biking distance and it's very easy to get downtown or to Gastown, and Chinatown via car or bike. We enjoyed staying here! Loved the Wilder Snail, also try the Alibi Room or Six Acres (Gastown) if you're into local beer.

  I was in town for a bit of vacation and bit of work. Samantha and Jason's studio was a great place to stay. A few notes to future visitors: I had a rental car which worked out great. There is public transportation in Vancouver but I found driving more convenient (I am from LA after all). Additionally, I took another visitor's advice and found the Whole Foods Market across the Cambie Bridge. It's not too far but with out a car not sure how you would get there. The house it located...   My wife and I enjoyed a peaceful and very comfortable 5 week stay. We were made to feel extremely welcome. I made good use of one of the vintage bikes which was really great. The photos on Airbnb are a perfect depiction of the space. The location was an easy 15-20 minute walk to downtown which was great for our purposes. Just be sure to bring warm socks or slippers since the floor is quite cold!

  S & J's studio apt was absolutely wonderful - just as pictured & expected - and a perfect home-away-from-home for our 2-wk visit to Vcvr! We enjoyed the precious & safe neighborhood, w/park & local markets, proximity to public transportation, and all apt amenities... including access to laundry. Beware that there are no LARGE markets, liquor, or drug stores in the area, so we taxied to/from Whole Foods, and planned stops at downtown Rexall or BC Liquor, as needed. Tho' S & J were away...   The suite was perfect for myself, wife and 2.5 year old daughter. Everything was clean, all amenenties included (fresh towels, kitchen appliances, dishware, etc.) Jason, Samantha and baby respected our privacy...having our two year old running around and screaming sometimes I thought they would have complained about our company!

  Samantha and Jason's studio is very comfortable clean modern and well appointed. The suite is very close to downtown either by walking (20 mins) or bus (10 mins). Access to the studio was private and separate from Samantha and Jason's place which is upstairs. Communication was great and the suite had everything we needed to feel at home including cookware etc. we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others as a great way of experiencing Vancouver.

  This was a great place to stay for a first timer in Vancouver. I stayed here with my partner - she and I loved it and made it home straight away. We love the idea of staying in places that feel like home while travelling - Jason and Samantha were very thoughtful in providing this very environment. Would recommend this for anyone heading Vancouver way, and would stay again!

  This suite was everything it promised to be and more! It's obvious that it was well thought out and executed to a very high standard. It had everything I needed plus it was comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The location is super convenient, very central and the neighbourhood absolutely charming. It was private yet i knew that if I needed anything, all I had to do was ask. In summary, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and plan on booking it for my next trip to Vancouver. Awesome!

  our recent trip to vancouver was an eye opening experience of the great northwest. samantha and jasons place was the cherry on top of our vancouver sundae. situated in a neighborhood setting right outside the city, it was close enough to enjoy all the city had to offer but far enough away to be relaxing and serene. the accomidations were wonderful. the bedding was extremely cozy, there was a heated towel rack ( which is an amazing and thoughtful feature) , and the lighting was great...
