  Fantastic hostess :) Tenney is lovely, friendly and very easy going. Tenney's place is clean, convenient, big and welcoming, and certainly does have a great vibe. The location was very convenient for my requirements and of course it's close to the city which is great too. I will not hesitate to go back next time I'm in NY and I look forward to keeping in touch with Tenney. Thanks for a great stay.

  Tenney's place is the perfect place to stay in New York. It is the best value for money we've come across in a long time. Tenney is a very welcoming and hospitable host. She makes you feel very comfortable and she has some interesting stories to tell about her experiences. The room is clean and spacious and the bathroom is right next door.   Great place and host. Convenient bus from LGA and subway to Manhattan.Safe and interesting neighborhood with many great ethnic restaurants within walking distance.Facilities clean and comfortable. Host accommodating as you require.

  what a wonderful place to spend one´s time in nyc. i could not have wished for more. tenney is a fantastic host. her apartment is great. warm, inviting, clean and very quiet. the best place to spend a relaxed evening after a hectic day in manhattan. astoria-ditmars is a really nice neighborhood. everything is nearby. overall i would not hesitate a second to spend another 10 days with tenney at her great place in wonderful astoria-ditmars. thanks tenney for the great time. philipp

  Living with Tenney was such a great experience. I stayed for four nights, and I wish I was able to spend even more time with Tenney. She is open, genuine, and such an interesting person. The bedroom was quite spacious, and very neat. There is also a nice and neat living room, kitchen, and bathroom. I loved the colors of the house--definitely an artsy vibe.   I stayed at Tenney's the first week of August (I'm a little late at reviewing.. you try battling a brutal dial up connection!) and I absolutely *loved* it! Tenney is so warm and friendly, I really enjoyed talking with her and sharing some life stories.   Tenny was wonderful. The room was clean and neat. She made me feel welcome and everything in her house was open to me. Very nice to be around. A joy to talk to. Her place is very close to train stations and restaurants. The area is very diverse, the neighbors are friendly. I would definitely recommend staying with her.

  Tenney is an exceptional host! I would recommend her to anyone. She is very friendly, kind and considerate. My friend Therese and I both enjoyed her company very much. Not only is she great, so is her home. She has a cozy place and it is very clean and tidy. There is lot's of privacy and AC too. It was very close to The Metro Station and many great places to eat as well. I have never felt more welcome anywhere. I hope to go back to NY someday and when I do I will stay at her place again.

  Tenney is the BEST host, ever! Not only did we enjoy our accommodations, we enjoyed her company. The spot may have been a great find, but meeting a beautiful soul you can call a friend is where the luck really resided. Open-minded and open-hearted, Tenny's generosity with her personality made our stay an invaluable experience.
