Just got back from a three-night stay with Madison, and it was perfect! She was very friendly, helpful, gave me lots of tips on places to go and things to eat. The room was spacious and comfortable; the house was incredibly clean. She even took out the iron so I would be ready for all my interviews while in town. Great location, walking distance to two subway stops and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Madison and her place come highly recommended!

This was the first time we used airbnb and it couldn't have been better. Madison was very kind and helpful. The room was large and tidy - also the bathroom. There were also some snacks, maps, toiletry and fresh towels. Right next to the house is a small shop. There is a bus station near the house and you can walk to the next metrostation. I would choose Madison's appartement again for my next trip to NYC.

The room was giant (especially for NYC), very clean & comfortable, & the location is hard to beat if you want to be in the LES. The only downside is street noise if you're not used to big cities.

The location is just perfect! Walking distance to Chinatown and Subway (10 mins)... We stayed there for 4 days, but we did not have a chance to meet Madison. She have her friend to gave us the keys. Madison's husband was very helpful and friendly and thier dog Calvin is super sweet. Our room was a lot bigger than I expected and kept cool enough by having it's own a/c unit. The rest of the apartment was quite hot but you were fine if you stayed in your room with door closed. Location a little out of the way but if you are up for walking you can get wherever you want.

Madison was a wonderful host--very kind and laid back. Staying there was like having your own apartment in NYC. Being in a neighborhood, as opposed to the hotel areas, lets you see NY and its people close up, making it possible to enjoy the city as a place to live, not just to visit.

My stay at Madison's was more than pleasurable. She was very accomodating as well , I was unable to arrive until nearly 11 pm at night. Very personable and outgoing , she even offered to walk me to the nearest subway station. The apartment is exactly as its described , the room was pretty big with television and air conditioning! My girlfriend and I had a great experience at Madison's place. First, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and we felt there was enough privacy that we could do what we wanted. The location is just a short walk to SOHO. Good places to eat nearby. Madison was helpful answering some of our questions about getting around and good things to see and do while in town. Great place, good location, at a price we thought was good value.

Madison and Joah are wonderful hosts. The apartment is beautiful and airy and her dog is terminally cute. The bedroom is large and the bed is comfortable. Madison knows the city and her neighborhood and is very willing to share her knowledge. There are a number of good, inexpensive restaurants nearby. I strongly recommend Cafe Petisco on East Broadway. Great Mediterranean cuisine-- everything from falafel to tagines.

Madison was an excellent host. The apartment was larger than I expected and very nice & clean. The location is in a great neighborhood. Although I didn't see Madison a lot, she was friendly and helpful. Also, the shower is excellent! Hot and lots of water pressure. The neighborhood is lovely. Easy to explore downtown and its neighborhoods, and just a train ride to anywhere else in the city. I highly recommend this place and this host.

The Location is great, 15 minutes working distance to F line, basically, you could go anywhere starting from F line. A CVS store (supermarket) located about 2 blocks away, food is also accessible easily. Neighborhood looks safe. Madison is very nice, she gave me many tips regarding travelling in NYC and although she was out of town when i arrived, she still left many maps and instructions in the room. Room is big, bed is pretty comfortable, i will give a 5-star!!

Amazing place in a great neighborhood! Very convenient area, although the street-facing bedroom window let some noise in in the mornings (we didn't mind too much though!) Maddy and Josh couldn't have been better hosts; super helpful and full of tips about the neighborhood and different sights to see. We had a great stay at Madisons place, she is very nice and accommodating. The room is spacious, very comfortable bed. 10 min walk to F train. Not too far from SOHO and Chinatown. The only downside is the amount of noise from the street (which is typical for New York), so if you're a light sleeper beware! I put in my earplugs and had a good nightrest anyway. Definately a place to recommend, if you're looking for a good deal.
