Finance Director, Libertarian Party of Ohio (Former IT Project Manager)
I am 32 years old and very happily married to my 33 year old husband of nearly 5 years, Remi. We've been friends for 13 years and cohabitating for nearly 9 years, so you'll find us to be like a comfortable old couple who knows how to make each other laugh on a regular basis.
I'm a former IT professional, now turned Finance Director for a non-profit group for which I'm very passionate - The Libertarian Party of Ohio. For those who don't know what a Libertarian is, the simplest explanation is that we believe you should be able to live your life as you see fit, so long as you don't infringe on the rights of others to live their lives as they see fit. This means we believe the government should stay out of your personal life - whether it is your bedroom or your wallet. Obviously, you can extrapolate this to mean that we are accepting of people from all walks of life, so long as they are peaceful and respectful of the personal life choices of others!
Remi has a background in biochemistry, and works as a General Manager for an analytical chemical testing firm in Cincinnati, OH. We love wine (particularly deep reds like Malbec and Zinfandel) and microbrew beer (Remi is also an excellent homebrewer). We love to travel to new places when we have the time, but often find ourselves drawn back to places we’ve been many times before to visit family and friends.
Remi loves to play ice hockey and I love Anusara Yoga. We're electronic music junkies (both to listen to and to dance to), but still have an appreciation for all forms of music, including but not limited to classic rock, alternative rock, hard rock, big band/swing, industrial, punk, rap, and hip hop. On Sundays in the fall/winter we like to watch pro football, particularly The Pittsburgh Steelers, but we don't always get to see them since we live in Cincinnati and everyone else here hates that team!
