My boyfriend and I stayed in Kate's house for two nights. Kate's house is nestled back in a cozy lot just minutes from the beach and a few blocks from Santa Monica's Main Street, which is full of fun shops and restaurants. The location was perfect, and provided easy access to everything we wanted to do. We used Kate's tandem bike to get around, which I found to be a major bonus, because parking a car in Santa Monica's beach and shopping areas can be a pain, especially on the weekend.

What a great place. Large beds, comfy couch, cool books, wifi and just a lot of charm. But lets face it, we are traveling so we spent a lot of time visiting and the location was definitely the best we could have hoped for. Just 10-15 minute walk from the beach, the Venice Ale House or the 3rd street promenade.
The host was absent but took time to take news and making sure we were fine. We would gladly come back anytime!
Great location to everthing LA. Walking distance to Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier. Bus systems are easy if you have no car.

The bungalow is great! We had a very nice stay. The neighborhood is quiet, yet very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Although Kate was away during our stay, she was available to answer all of our questions. Would definitely stay again.
This place was perfect for our needs. So much character and a great location for Santa Monica and Venice. Kate was an awesome host and could not have been any nicer at all.
Good place to stay. Within walking distance to the beach. A small local market nearby, and a Whole Foods within driving distance. The apartment was clean, well furnished, and we needed nothing. There was a problem with the Internet therefore the 4 ****'s. But otherwise, great place to stay. Very homey.
Kate wasa great host! And the place was perfect, we loved having the freedom to cook and to use the bikes, the tandem is heaps of fun!! Thanks for the great stay, if I'm ever back I'll be stayin here:) ps... Loved all the little NZ things, reminded us of home! :)
