We planned to stay in Tom's beautiful, central apartment for 3 days. Then Hurricane Irene hit. He called and asked us to do a very few things to ensure the apartment was safe for us and his neighbours. And he was also most generous to offer us anything in his apartment should we need it. Hurricane or no hurricane he and his girlfriend were helpful, courteous, thoughtful. Highly recommended both because of apartment and hosts. We would love to stay there again.
Staying at Tom's place is one of the best things during our visit in the record high heat wave. His apartment is airy, clean and neat, even better than the pictures posted. Tom is a great host. He was thorough, respecting our privacy and accomodating our flight schedules. What can we say......?! We loved everything about Tom's apartment. It's beautifully decorated (loved the art deco furniture!), bright, warm, spotless and has everything you could need. It was so nice and cosy to come back to after a busy winter's day and night sight seeing! To top it off it's in a great neighbourhood. Great apartment and very easy to arrange everything with. The apartment was beautiful and comfortable and easy to access. Would definitely look to stay here again in the future should it be available for another trip to NYC!
Tom's place was great...perfect for two people! This lovely studio apartment is well designed and even has a back roof deck for sitting! It's in a great part of Manhattan, full of neighborhoods we really enjoyed exploring. Tom-thank you for everything! -Carol

My sister and I had a great stay at Tom's place from 13-15 March 2010. His apartment is beautiful - filled with light, well-decorated, spacious, comfortable, and private. The location is also great being within 1.5 miles of many Midtown attractions, the Lower East Side, and Greenwich Village.
