Located in a perfect spot within the nicest area of Brooklyn, we really enjoyed our stay. Moving to Manhattan was easy and Marisa was quick to explain us whether we needed anything. Directions, recommendations or whatever. 100% recommended.
Great location right off bedford ave. I loved the convenience of the location and highly recommend this place for travelers not wanting to pay high prices for hotel accommodations that you do not need. This unit is simple and perfect for a place to sleep and store your bags at a great price.
My boyfriend and I originally booked to stay with Marisa for just a few nights but ended up extending because it was such a lovely place to be! Marisa is a great host - helpful and so friendly. We also loved Rusty, the fattest cat we've ever met. The location of the apartment couldn't be better - right in the heart of Williamsburg (as the advert describes), next to a subway which is just one stop from Manhattan. Highly recommended.

Marisa is a fantastic host, warm and friendly, very knowledgeable about the city. Location couldn't be better, just one stop from Manhattan, 2 mins from East River Park that has gorgeous views over the NYC skyline. We loved it here. During our stay, Marisa was good enough to give us the run of her spacious lounge room. Her apartment is cosy with great views of the city lights, and the location is killer -- right in Williamsburg's thumping heart and only one stop from Manhattan on the subway. But Marisa is the real selling point of this place; her quick wit, great conversation and amaaaaazing restaurant recommendations made this trip one we'll never forget. We selected this listing based on Marisa's reviews and they are accurate. We love Bedford Ave and being located so close to the L train (one stop from Manhattan). Marisa was a great host and very personable. I wish we had more time to take her up on her suggestions for visiting Queens.
The apartment itself was ok as it was cluttered and could have been better kept. But we had the living room to ourselves and primarily only slept there and the air beds were fine.

1. Her house is perfectly located in vibrant Williamsburg: easy peasy logistics to wherever, loads of places to hang out and superb people watching.

My girlfriend and I had such a good time staying with Marisa! She is a brilliant host. The apartment is great and in an amazing location. Marisa is very friendly and helpful and her cat, Rusty, is quite a character! Like I said, we had a great time, great conversations and were both really sad to be leaving. Marissa was wonderful host with great knowledge of the city, Williamsburg and how to save money on local attractions. (Very useful!) The room I stayed in was spacious, and the air beds were very, very comfortable. The location of the apartment is a minutes walk from Bedford Ave and the subway making it a great location. There are lots of great shops, bars around! I would definately stay with Marissa again.
My 16 year old daughter and I jut returned home after spending 3 nights at Marisa's apartment. This was our first air bnb experience and because of our experience with Marisa we are looking forward to many more.

Marisa was a great host - she was nice, easygoing and lovely to talk to. The place is surrounded by a bunch of awesome restaurants, bars and shops which, we had a really great time exploring. Marisa was also very flexible, responded quickly to all my emails and was generally really reliable. I had an awesome time staying here and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking of visiting.
We had such a great time with Marisa and Rusty (the cat)! She made us feel extremely welcome and we ended up extending our stay another week. She's easy going and we had some great chats!! She was super helpful with suggestions about where to go and what to see. We would definitely stay there again. The house has lots of character and the location is absolutely ideal - right on the Bedford L line. Rusty is fat (big boned!) and adorable - we wanted to take him home with us.

Marisa was very kind and thoughtful, and fun to converse with. We shared wide ranging discussions on everything from neighborhood development to ethnic foods. Rented the space for a couple friend of mine. They are very happy and found a very friendly host. The apartment is not too big, but she knows how to make you feel comfortable.

I spent a few nights last summer in Marisa's appartment in Williamsburg : the best place i could wish. Because i didn't want to be just a tourist, because i intended to meet some real people, real characters of New York ... and there's no doubt that Marisa is one of them. How many people really knows NYC ? I mean not only Manhattan, but Brooklyn, Queens. Bielieve me, not so much...

Marisa is my sister and has been for 46 years. She's been the smartest, most original person I know.
