  UNIT IS IN A GREAT LOCATION---WALKING DISTANCE TO RESTURANTS AND SHOPS--PEACEFUL PLACE TO RELAX AND TO WATCH ACTIVITY ON WATERWAY--BIKING -KAYAK-BOAT RENTALS CLOSE BY ---I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS BUT OWNER HAS A CAT --NOT AROUND WHILE STAYING--`BUT ENOUGH CAT ALLERGINS LEFT TO GIVE ME MILD ALLERGIC REACTION

  This place was like a dream!!! We were welcomed by Melaney like old friends, she showed us around and gave up plenty of suggestions for making the best of our stay, as well as left us with food in the fridge and fruits! The house is splendid, in incredibly perfect order, with everything at the ready, a fully equipped kitchen, two comfy bedrooms and a large living room with a grand piano where my daughter started practising new Beatles songs...   If you are headed to Long Beach you can't beat the wonderful home away from home. It has everything you could want and much, much more. Located near the fabulous Belmont Shore it's literally steps from the water and minutes from shops, restaurants and nightlife while still being in a quiet residential neighborhood. The place itself offers all the comforts of home while still having that feeling of staying someplace special. We enjoyed it so much we ended up canceling some of our weekend... More »

  Melaney was definitely one of the most friendliest and welcoming hosts I've met through AirBnB over the last year. Her place in Long Beach is really roomy and comfortable, and the location overlooking the bay makes for a really nice peaceful and tranquil getaway from the general busyness of LA.

  Just want to say that Melaney place at Long Beach was great, the house was very comfortable, and relax, the view is to die for and the accommodations was very good, We all enjoyed every minute there and we will do it all over again I really want to thanks Melaney for all the effort and for the good place she got for us.

  My parents come from China to attend my commencement. I was so worried about where to live. After "shop around" on the Internet, I chose Melaney's place in Long Beach. That's the smartest choice I ever made. Melaney makes you feel welcome. My parents love it! This is the place that you can truly "get-away". In addition, the price is so reasonable. I would live there once my parents visit me again.

  I stayed at this fabulous place of Melaney's. Driving into was a breath of fresh air the area was great the sun was out. When I arrived, Melany greeted me very graciously. She gave me my own key and introduced me to everything I could use. Which let me tell you its way too much for the price. I actually felt I was at a home of my family's . She left me in solitude. I was in heaven. Stayed two nights and I cant say enough good things. She has an absolutely loveable cat that I grew attached to... More »
