I run a training business (communication, entrepreneurship, and learner-centered design), which has me out on international travel 4-6 months/year -- most of the time in Scandinavia.
The rest of my days are spent working and teaching in and around Stanford University, "home" since 2000. I've also been a housesitter since 1998, which has been a great way to really get a feel of all major regions in the San Francisco Bay Area (and deal with cats, dogs, plants, and more than my share of teenage boys...)
People think I'm wildly organized and super-neat. The less stressed I am, the truer that statement is :)
I have a strong spiritual bent (non-denominational) and spend a decent amount of time at contemplative retreats...probably to counter-balance the extreme travels!
