I joined Airbnb whilst it was still buggy and when the team still lived in New York. I enjoy visiting new places and always travel with friends or family. Though I live in one of the best states (and city) in the country, I try to get out of California at least 3 times per year.
Whenever I travel, I enjoy strolling about and trying out restaurants. I'm not into bars, they're simply too loud, but will enjoy a quieter dive or a nice lounge with a view! When booking on Airbnb, I usually travel with my parents, so apartments will always be left cleaner than when we arrived. There's two positives in that - free housing for me and great cooking from Thai parents!
When travelling alone or with friends, it's always for educational enhancement or for social justice or technology conferences. In this case, we'd usually never be home.
I'm interested in computers, Android, sociological observation, the urban environment, #Occupy, and just sitting/napping, or walking around different neighbourhoods off the beaten path.
