I'm a huge fan of Chicago, having lived here for over 6 years. I work for an arts & culture magazine in town so I can make lots of recommendations for places to see and things to do.
Andrew was a great host. He was very accomodating and made us feel comfortable in his home. The room was great with private bath (jacuzzi tub) and cable in the room. He also welcomed us to anything that was in the fridge! A huge plus was the proximity to the Brown Line (literally 2 blocks) and to Einstein Bagels. Would definitely stay with Andrew again!
My girlfriend and I took a trip to Chi-town for some musical adventure and to reconnect with some old friends. Andrew was easy going and flexible, and we were able to come and go as we pleased. The house was immaculate and comfy. Location was awesome, near transit and in proximity to all the little amenities one could need. Thanks again!

Andrew is a credit to Airbnb. We loved his place and room. His place is super clean, great location, and easy to get to on the L. Andrew is the perfect host. I highly recommend Andrew. We will be staying with Andrew again next time our travels take us to Chicago.

Dein Haus/ das Zimmer, als auch die gesamte Nachbarschaft ist wunderschoen... Vor allem aber bist Du als Gastgeber mehr als nur weiter zu empfehlen.... Es war sehr angenehm und sehr sauber. Man ist schnell im Zentrum 'Loop" als auch am Michigan See.

I'd like to add my endorsement to all the other stellar reviews that Andrew and his place have been getting. His condo offers both personal privacy and comfortable accessibility in the kitchen and living area. And Andrew is a great host - ready to make suggestions to enhance your Chicago experience.
Andrew's home was the perfect place for our recent Chicago stay. He was personable and generous with his space. The other reviews are "spot on" so I won't repeat them. His maps and suggestions were great. Want to talk Cubs?(which we did)Andrew is your man! He has many interests, though, and is an intellgent conversationalist. You will not regret staying here.
Andrew was great with my everchanging travel plans so I was glad to see he was flexible and accommodating with his schedule.
His place is great for this type of experience, the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and the location was good for being in a neighbourhood but not too far from the action.
Andrew works from him and although I was out for most of my stay with him, we did end up talking shop and cubs!

Andrew's home is even more beautiful than the photos promise, and the location is incredible. Perfect for seeing the Cubs, really close to the L, and complete with everything you need to relax. Our stay at Andrew's place was a dream. He's the perfect host.
We arrived very (very) early in the morning, and he woke up to welcome us.
The room was wonderful with sweet sheets, comfortable bed and private bathroom (with jacuzzi bathtub :D )
He's very friendly, and even took the time to advice us on what to do in town, and drove us in a nice area to have a drink with him.
The location is absolutely perfect (15min to downtown by subway).
We do hardly recommand him!
Andrew is a perfect host and very friendly. The bedroom, the bathroom, the kitchen and the living-room are very clean and also comfortable. The place is well located, quiet and close to downtown by public transportation.

Andrew, was a great host and his place was perfect. It is centrally located and a short walking distance to a few good brunch places and the "L".
His place was emaculate and the room was perfect, very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend it and would stay again if I return to Chicago. A great place if you plan to go to Cubs games.
Convenient location near a variety of public transportation options, bars, coffee shops, and delicious Ann Sather cinnamon rolls. I'm a Chicago veteran, so he was friendly and hands-off-- let me do my own thing, though he had an impressive array of maps and materials for first-timers. Comfy bed in a beautiful, and impeccably clean, apartment.
Andrew's place is ideal, we couldn't have been happier with the apartment or its location. Andrew was an excellent and generous host, he was very happy to answer questions and give suggestions for things to do.
Wonderful stay. The condo is close to Lakeview and Southport amenities--coffee, shops, restaurants, and pubs. Andrew's apartment is spotless, and the bed is more comfortable than the one at the Palmer House, where I usually stay.
We had a very pleasant stay with Andrew. Not that we spent much time there, since we were in town to meet our new granddaughter. The neighborhood is lovely and Andrew provided us with a nice map and a list of nearby places to go. The room was very comfortable and clean, and near to where the "kids" live. We would stay with him again, and would recommend his place to others.
The room is very comfortable, the location is great (nice district, public transportation is very close, only around 15-20min away from downtown) and the apartment is gorgeous.

My stay at Andrew was great. For starter the accomodation is nicely decorated, it's clean and it has all the amenities that one needs whilst travelling. It's conveniently located for public transportation, shops, coffee shops etc. and last but definitely not least Andrew is the perfect host, really helpful with advice on how to navigate the city, he is the perfect conceirge! I felt very welcome and really comfortable in his home!
Couldn't have asked for a better situation: Ample space, clean room, private bathroom, accommodating and friendly host. It's also a great location with public transportation and all the necessary stores and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk.
I had a great stay with andrew. He has a beautiful, modern and clean home. I traveled alone and spent three nights there. As a single female, andrew was very repectful, and I was comfortable staying there. The neighborhood is also nice, walking distance from bars grills, coffee shops and restaurants. The private bathroom, and tv were added bonuses. This was a nice way to see Chicago. I highly recommend it.
Andrew was an extremely accommodating and gracious host who was quick with tips on where to go in Chicago. The private room has an attached bathroom - both of which were kept immaculately clean. The neighborhood is fun, safe and accessible with el transportation to points throughout Chicago. Overall, an excellent experience. I would most certainly stay here again and recommend you to do too!
