Chris' place is great, very large, very clean, very bright, plus you get the bonus of being surrounded by great art. Even with an overnight snowfall the steps were shoveled by the time we left in the morning. It was easy to arrange with Chris to get the key and he gave us the lowdown on the neighbourhood as well as binder with information about places to eat and how to get to the subway. Highly recommended.
Brooklyn is a suprise; a nice neigbourhood to stay, friendly people and it offers a different perspective on the city of NY. We had a warm welcome and the appartment has everything you need. Even a christmas tree! The connections to other parts of the city by public transport are quite good. A place to recommend!
This was my second stay at Chris & Karen's apartment and again I enjoyed it. The hosts respect their guests' privacy and are easyly accessible whenever you need help. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who needs to feel safe and comfortable abroad.
Christopher was a great host. He waited up for us when we arrived late and got up early to make sure that our car service came and that we got off okay. They left us wine and cupcakes and were very helpful. The guidebook that they have put together for their guests is great and has so much good information. They are responsive and have a great space. The art is very cool and the pictures accurately portray the apartment.

Chris was an awesome host - stayed up late to come greet us, showed us around the apartment, and was readily available by phone or text when we had questions - including the first night when we heard loud unfamiliar sounds. He was awesome and timely with request follow-ups and helped us call a cab on the last day.

Fantastic first experience with Air BNB. Chris, the host, was very accomodating and super generous. He stayed up waiting for us on the first night and had tips and suggestions for our stay. The apartment was clean, the bed comfortable and the towels nice and fluffy.

Very nice apartment, decorated with plenty of sculpture and paintings ! Situated near a grocery store (3 min) and the subway (3 min, then 20 minute to manhattan). The apartment was wonderful--truly a home away from home. The family made us feel very welcome and provided all sorts of little extras for us. My experience here was a very pleasant one. Chris and Karen provided fruit, juice, bagels and cheese plus tea and coffee which is not something that you find complimentary in most hotel rooms anywhere for this price.
The inclusion of a small library of books was excellent. A must read for you if you stay here is "The Man in my Basement" by Walter Mosley which I picked up and couldn't put down.

We found the apartment just like it was listed. It was so nice to find a bowl of fruit, bagels and cream cheese, juices and Perrier water in the refrigerator as well. The welcome book with all the how to's, where to find what, maps, restaurant menus, etc, was really helpful! The place was clean and had 2 sets of nice clean fluffy towels that dried quickly daily. The apartment is great - is exactly as it looks from the photos - roomy and has pretty much everything you need. Christopher and Karen are absolutely lovely and are on hand if you have any questions. We had a fantastic week, and the apartment was a nice place to come home to at the end of a busy day.

We were cooking with my wife and we have all the appliances for that.
Generally we felt almost like at our home.
There is a lot of space in the apartments (probably it can work well even for company of 3-4 people).
Location is quite close to subway (5 minutes of walking) there are a lot of small shops nearby and big food-market in 7 minutes of walking.

Great host, clean and spacious apartment. They received us with some goods in the refrigerator. Train is a 5 minute walk from the apartment however a bit away from the city. So planning your day ahead is crucial as is agitating to come back and forth.
Loved Staying at Christopher's; I was very late in my arrival to NYC, and Christopher waited up for me until after 12am and still gave me a warm welcome. Check out was very flexible, he didn't pressure me to leave by a certain time, which made me very comfortable, also he was extremely hospitable, I felt like it was my own place plus I was happy about the privacy level. I can't add more to the praises that Christopher's apartment has had from his previous guests. I was there to do some teaching at Parsons New School, so being able to have space to focus and work, easily commute to Manhattan, sleep soundly at night and enjoy the nightlife of Brooklyn were the main criterias - of which Christopher's place scored highly on all fronts! Our stay at "The Peach" was more than excellent! Chris and Karen were so friendly and helpful that you couldn't have asked for more.
The apartment has everything you need - it's nicely decorated, spacious, great location close to subways and the neighbors are great and friendly too!

Great stay...Only suggestion is to move the small bed into the empty bedroom and put a king bed in the large master bedroom. Very spacious...

We really enjoyed staying with Christopher and Karen. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed.
Karen had prepared a great packet with things to do in the area we were staying and a very helpful guide to using the metro system. We used it almost every time we went out. They also left fresh fruit for breakfast, which was nice.
We couldn't ask for a better apartment in Brooklyn for this price.
Chris is just wonderful - so friendly and helpful! The apartment he gave us is thoughtfully appointed, filled with unique art, bright, airy, and spacious. You could see the care that he and his wife took in preparing it for us. It is close to the A & C subway lines as well as other public transit.

My partner and I stayed at Chris and Karen’s apartment for about a week. The Apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. Chris and Karen were very accommodating and there was fresh fruit, milk and juice upon arrival which was lovely.
The subway, laundry mat and local shops were close by and we made our way around just fine. We would recommend staying at the apartment.

My son and I had an awesome time in NY and Chris and Karen's place is really nice! Only 5mins walking distance to reach the subway station. The apartment was clean, confortable and furnished with everything you may need. They even had cereal, milk, juice and fresh muffins available upon our arrival. I loved staying at Chris&Karen's place. The location was great and I felt (email hidden) COuple was very down to earth and friendly! I did not feel as if I left home at all. This is a very large one and a half bedroom apartment that is tastefully furnished. Chris and his wife are extremely gracious hosts. They even gave me a box of fresh strawberries, muffins, fresh fruit, a quart of juice, and I was only there for 2 days. I would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed meeting Christopher and Karen. The apartment was beautiful and filled with welcoming touches (candles, lots of soft fluffy towels, beautiful artwork, a big bowl of fruit...). There was a nice packet prepared for us with useful maps and information about the neighborhood. The location was very convenient. We'd love to stay there again sometime.

It was the perfect blend between Art and Comfort. The gallery in the apartment has some of the most interesting pieces of Art I have ever scene.
From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was at home. Everything you need to know about the area is conveniently located in a folder, from maps to pamphlets and of course the gracious host and hostess, you will never feel lost.
Look for me again... I would definitely stay there again, and I recommend it.
