I rented the first story front room in the flat where Lauren and her two roommates reside. Lauren was responsive to my questions and emails, she was there when I arrived, and was courteous and polite in showing me everything I needed to know. The location was perfect -- a 15 min walk from Union Station, the Capitol, and the Supreme Court and another 5-10 minutes or so to the Mall and the Smithsonian. I actually dealt with one of the other roommates, Alicia, who could not have been more welcoming. The huge air mattress with nice linens was in a large room and was quite comfortable. I was given the run of the house, including the large TV in the living room, and was encouraged to help myself to beverages and breakfast. The Capitol Hill neighborhood was very pretty and I enjoyed walking there. I hope to go back in the summer to enjoy the nice backyard and front porch.

Lauren and her roommates were very friendly during my stay. The room is cozy and private and the location was perfect- right down the street from Union Station. If you stay here make sure you stop in Ebenezer's for coffee.

The guest room is more like a large half-empty storage room with a bed. It's not very clean. Lauren was pleasant but hardly around, and her housemates were indifferent, even rude. The street and neighborhood are quite nice.

Lauren and her roommates were great hosts. The space was their dining room. It had doors, so their was sufficient privacy. Their place was conveniently located, and I felt safe making the reasonably short walk to the train station, restaurants, etc.

Very nice host and place - only about four blocks from Union Station, near a great coffee house. Lauren provided helpful guide for touring around as well.

Lauren and her roommates were awesome! Great location (next to Union Station & the Hill) and a very comfortable house and private front room. I would definitely stay again!

Lauren's place was great, really spacious and comfortable. her and her roommates were accommodating and friendly. also, a good location, quick walk from union station. Next time I'm in D.C. i'll be staying here.

Lauren was a great host. From the moment we exchanged emails she made everything very simple. She helped me get a temporary parking permit and gave me internet access in a second. She didn't realize it, but that's all I needed to get focused on finding a temporary place in DC. Great location within easy walk to Union Station, Metro And essentially all of Washington. Very comfortable room and bed.Wonderfully Cool even on some of hottest days. For me so I was not able to take advantage Of Lauren's knowledge of DC. First time For me to use AirBnB, but felt Very comfortable. Definitely would stay Here again if avaiable.

I enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable stay at Lauren's spacious room near the Capital. She cheerfully helped me with how to use the Metro, giving me maps and directions. Her room is private and quiet, the bed very comfortable and the use of her wireless internet greatly appreciated. Lauren and her roommates were delightful hosts and I would certainly look to staying here again when I next visit Washington DC.

Very convenient location, only about a half mile walk to the Mall and Union station, and 10 minutes away from some wonderful restaurants. Lauren and her roommates were very friendly, and the guest room was quite large and comfortable.

Lauren, Carolyn and Alicia are very nice hosts and made me feel welcome in their home and in D.C. The house is located in a good neighborhood within walking distance of Eastern Market, Union Station, the Capitol and the Mall. I would definitely stay here again.

Lauren and her roommates are great hosts and their homely house is in a great suburb within walking distance of Union Station, the Capitol and Mall as well as museums. Would definitely recommend it! The airbed is surprisingly very comfy as well!

This review is a bit late on my part, but the location was excellent. Lauren was very accommodating and the stay was quite pleasant. I would recommend the charming capitol hill rowhouse.

Lauren and her roommates are very cool and welcoming. While I was there, I was required to spend most of my time around the Capitol and it was a short walk to everywhere I needed to go. She also gave me a great recommendation on a used bookstore nearby. Overall, very nice people and a very nice place. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was great she was extremely nice and helpful. I am a "newbie" at this, so she held my hand through the processes. The room was nice, clean and they made me feel very comfortable! The place is located in a nice clean safe neighborhood which is very close to Union Station and the Capital and the redline metro.

Lauren was very nice and accommodating. The house is cute and a short walk from the Capitol and Union Station. The room is great, as was access to the rest of the facilities. AC and wi-fi, what more to ask? I had a great stay and would do it again gladly!

Me and my friend really enjoyed staying here during our short visit to Washington DC. The house is located in a nice area within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The house is clean and the bed is comfy! Would definitley stay here again!!!

Truly enjoyed the stay with Lauren and her roomates. Capitol Hill is a nice quarter of town. Lauren even got me signed up for running twice weekly in front of the Capitol.
