Me (James) and my room mate (Dave) are 27 year old marketers working in NYC. Interested in: Photography, running, cycling, and traveling.

This is a 2 BR with shared bathroom. The airbnb space is for ONE bedroom room for $80, if you need both please contact us for special rates, or book both rooms for the entire apt with terrace.

James and Dave have been friends for over 3 years and met thru randomness. They love to cycle and entertain women & have beers/wine at the bar downstairs.

We had a great stay as the location was excellent - walking distance to a lot of great restaurants, bars, the subway, soho and chinatown. Only downside was that the bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but no different than any other bathroom occupied by a couple of guys. Would definitely stay there again!

A wonderful location for a great price. Really nice guys, easy going and friendly. Perfect for young couples or young travellers.

James apartment is small but at a great location. The bedroom was very small and the bathroom really needed to be cleaned. James wasn't home but his roomie Dave took good care of us. Great guy!

James wasn't there but his flatmate Dave was and he welcomed us and was super helpful for tips throughout our stay. Both replied to our emails and requests immediately. They were accommodating with the key collection (at a shop around the corner from them) and responded to questions & issues positively. Great place, great location, clean and tidy, deck outside with a bbq. James was very easy to deal with, and responded quickly to emails. Would definitely stay again if visiting NY. Had a fun time!

This was a great stay! James and his room mate is very pleasant to deal with overall. The apartment is nice and location is perfect. It has a comfortable bed and was very clean. It was everything you could want in a room rental. We'd be delighted to stay there again.

Great location and James was friendly and easy to deal with. Only downside was the bathroom was super dirty and the sheets on the bed had been slept in and had holes – this was easily sorted out with a quick clean and change of linen so I would still recommend the place as it was super quiet and close to everything.

This is in a fantastic location and the room / apartment is clean, comfortable and really great. The host was easy to work with and very understanding when I needed to book a third night last minute.

I recommend staying in James apartment. The apartment is charming and is in the perfect location near all the hot spots - East Village, Little Italy, SoHo... my boyfriend and I had a great time walking to all these places (because the F train was out of order), checking out new restaurants and shops. it is located in the great location, near subway stops and many great restaurants, coffee shops and only second floor, not so much to hall your suitcase. most of all, James was so nice to get out of his meeting to rescue my bag i left behind. thanks again.

James was a great host. My wife and I were a little nervous for our fist airbnb experience, but James was very freindly and knowledgeable about things to do. His aptartment is in a great location, parking for a whole weekend (fri-sun) during New Years was not a problem and free. Walking distance to china town, little italy, and the metro which can get you any where you want to visit. the apt was a little small for 2 people in 1 room, but you are only there to sleep...and the bed fit 2... James was out of town during our stay but he was a great host and provided everything we needed. When booking he replied to all my messages quickly and remained easily accessible. The location is amazing, 5 min walk from Soho and all the shops. F train is a few blocks away which makes Brooklyn and mid-town easily accessible. Great lively neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants to try out. Would definitely come back here on my next trip to new york.

James' Place was great! It was clean, really trendy and in a great neighbourhood! I would strongly recommend staying with James. He was also very hospitable and friendly. The next time I head to NYC, I would definitely stay there again if it's available.

James was nice and friendly to deal with. The apartment is in a great location near the subway and in a fun neighbourhood. We stayed in James's room and he stayed elsewhere as he has now found a flat mate. The room was quite small but we expected that. Agree with the rest - James is a nice guy and great host! The location is perfect and the bed very nice! We also needed the AC, as it was so hot in NYC! ;-) Would definitely stay there again, when coming back! Thanks!!

We had an awesome time at James' place. Location is really cool, and so is the apartment. The small patio is a wonderful place for having a coffee. The room is kind of small, but if you just sleep there, it's perfect. James is a very friendly host, we enjoyed having chats with him in the evening. We'll definitely be back when in NYC.
