Gordon's loft is great. The location was unbeatable, the neighbourhood is adorable, and the apartment was everything we hoped for. What a great NYE in Edinburgh!

Superb location for the Festivals/Fringe, walking distance to The Castle, Royal Mile, Pleasance etc. Definitley ear plugs required at this time of year as was quite noisy. The apartment was great. Everything you would need for your stay. Bars and restaraunts very handy. Gordon was a great host, would use again.

The Duffy's were warm and inviting. The loft was clean, very comfortable and in a phenomenal location. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

The room was spacious and bright, with a very comfortable bed and large, clean bathroom with hot shower. We really appreciated getting to do our laundry and having plenty of space to hang it up. Great location for seeing the sights in Edinburgh - we walked everywhere. Gordon, his partner, and their adorable son were truly gracious hosts. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations. Overall a great experience for our first-ever Airbnb stay.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay in Edinburgh with Gordon and his family. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The en-suite bathroom was very much appreciated. The location is a 5 minute walk away from great restaurants and venues. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a great location with lots of restaurants and pubs nearby, and is an easy walk or bus ride to the best of Edinburgh. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, and furnished with everything a guest could possibly need. We enjoyed meeting Gordon and appreciated his helpfulness in providing us local information and restaurant recommendations. Bottom line, the apartment is wonderful and Gordon is an excellent host.

We had fun in Scotland and really enjoyed Edinburgh! It would be more fun if you can visit the city during August/September as you can enjoy the international festival. I think the Rabbie's Tour was great so I would recommend this tour company if you want to visit the Highland. We did the one day tour but heard the two-day one would be better.

Very cool and comfortable flat. Because it was within walking distance of Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, the bus station, and many small shops (including several clothing shops, eateries, and a Tesco Metro) it allowed us to have a relaxing time in Edinburgh while still seeing the sights. Gordon was a gracious host and kept us up on current happenings and places to see. Would definitely book again.

This is a great location in the old town, within walking distance to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. The loft was clean and comfortable, the wifi was reliable, and we had all the kitchen essentials and cooking tools we needed. The lift was convenient for accessing the loft when you have luggage. Great location and lovely flat, elevator a great bonus and very unusual for Edinburgh! Gordon was a very polite and thoughtful host and I felt I had both privacy and welcome during my stay. I'd definitely consider Gordon again next time I visit Edinburgh.

A very convenient, central location, with good walks to most sites of interest. Comfortable accommodations, well equipped kitchen and plenty of space for 4 people. A bit noisy at night when the bars closed, but nothing that a set of earplugs couldn't solve. Gordon was a very helpful and considerate landlord, which contributed to our enjoyable stay in Edinburgh.

While the street outside the apartment was a bit noisy, the apartment itself was fantastic. A nicely decorated living room. Master bedroom with ensuite bath was also nicely decorated. The second bedroom was more basic, but had a shower in the room and the water closet was just outside the room. Both beds were very comfortable. The location of the apartment was also good. Delighted to be in Edinburgh and the 'loft' was a wonderful stay. Own beautiful ensuite; very empathetic and generous family made our experience combined with a very beautiful city most memorable. We covered six countries and most of all would love to come back to Scotland.

we had a wonderful time n the room was wonderful. it was clean n spacious, decor was lovely. the seagulls do get a little friendly chatting outside the window, but it adds to the overall experience. highly recommended for short stays with close proximity to all attractions.

We had a great time at the Duffy's Loft in Edinburgh. It is situated within a mile of Waverly station or about 7 min bus ride. It is also about a 10 min walk to the Royal Mile. The loft room itself is very nice. It has a comfortable Queen size bed with a view of a little court. The water was hot in the bathroom which was a huge plus for us! The flat is within easy walking distance of the Royal Mile. This was a perfect place for us to base our Edinburgh vacation. A Chinese grocer is across the street and the area is safe to walk no matter what the hour. Our bed was cozy and the room brightly lit and surrounded by artwork by our hosts and their friends. We enjoyed the dramatic view from the living room and the rooftop terrace of a stormy Edinburgh sky. We would definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed three nights. Gordon was accommodating, and the loft was great (wish I lived there). The street it's on was a bit on the noisy side (which we didn't mind; it was lively), but that was probably partly to do with the fact that university was just starting up. Fantastic central location. Would love to go back.
