A very nice place to stay, the apartment, the view, the surroundings... And we were allowed to stay a bit more due to plane problems (remember the volcano).
We would like to be back and warmly recommend Gonzalo and Monica's loft.

We had a lovely stay at Gonzalo's and Monica's. Gonzalo was a gracious host. I loved the kitchen, and the loft was in a perfect spot. Not to far from the subway and just up the street from the meat packers' district.
I just found the bed to be a bit uncomfortable as it sunk in the middle. Other then that the loft was amazing and everything was perfect. Thank you both for making my first time in NYC a memorable experience.
The apartment is exactly as advertised - very spacious with amazing views from the private terrace. Location was perfect, lots of cafes/bars/restaurants nearby but at the same time the neighbourhood was very quiet. Gonzalo met us at the apartment and was very informative - a great host. Highly recommended. I would stay here again.
Double Thumbs Up! The apartment was beautiful--we especially enjoyed the private terrace and the views from the common roofdeck were amazing. The apartment is located in a quiet section of the West Village but still very close to everything. Gonzalo was a great host, was very informative about the apartment and neighborhood and immediately responded to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend Gonzalo & Monica's apartment to my friends and would be happy to stay there again.
We had a wonderful time. We were in town for work, and the apartment was far superior to even a boutique hotel. The kitchen is amazing, the views were striking and of course, two fireplaces. The neighbourhood was exactly what we needed, restaurants, shopping, etc. And all of this only 2-4 minutes from the subways. We would stay there again.
What a fabulous rental! It was an elegant oasis of calm after a busy day of exploring this great city with wonderful, sunny views and a beautiful kitchen to cook in. Great location with lots of dining and shopping within a short distance. Subway was close and it was always easy to get a cab within a block. We will definitely return.
We had a great stay - everything looks exactly like the pictures. Gonzalo was great - friendly and full of info on the area. Check in was a little delayed because the cleaning lady was out sick, but we were able to leave our bags there while we wandered the neighborhood. Gonzalo even washed and waxed the floors himself, now THAT is a good host. Lovely sunny loft in the west village. Gonzalo was there to greet us and provided a long list of restaurants/cafes/shops/activities to check out. His list was great. The loft was clean and open with great views of the NYC skyline. The location was within walking distance to lovely shops and great restaurants in Greenwich Village. This made our stay in NYC lovely we and will be back.
