  If visiting Barcelona don't hesitate to contact Chris and Sarah to book your stay with them. The apartment has a great location practically beside the santa maria del mar. Tons of restaurants including la paradeta for seafood and the bar la fianna for a unique chilled out bar. My wife and I loved Barcelona and el born is a huge reason why. Check in was very smooth as Sarah and Chris met us close to the apartment . You have a nice private terrace to look out over the city and enjoy a drink.... More »

  We had a great time in this apartment. Really charming and typical Spanish building. Right in the centre of the place to be. Nice and helpful hosts. I can recommend this place for everybody who wants to taste the Spanish life in Barcelona.

  Couldn't have been more perfect. Brilliant location, Sarah and Chris were very generous hosts with amazing local knowledge that they were happy to share. The apartment is simply gorgeous, and very comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't want to leave! Will definitely be back when we are next in Barcelona.

  We began and ended our stay in Barcelona and we are glad we did. If you are visiting i cant think of a better place to stay than in el born. This apartment has an amaing location. 100 ft to the santa maria del mar and the picasso museum. Sarah and Chris are very helpful and accomodating with your arrival and helpful with your bags.   We did a lot of walking during our stay and found that the location of the apartment was perfect. Close to the market for food (Santa Catalina), close to lots of restaurants for eating out and close to shops and attractions. Sarah was great and has a list for her guests of where she recommends, there is also a visitors book which other people have written what they recommend. The apartment itself is small, but has everything you need for two people, we thoroughly enjoyed staying there and... More »

  A cool and funky apartment in the Old Town area of Barcelona. My girlfriend and I both loved the decor and style of the place and the Born Area its in is great for bars, restaurants and cafes. Would recommend this to anyone and we'll certainly stay here again the next time we visit the wonderful city of Barcelona. Sarah was very helpful all along and in regular contact and even gave us some great tips for the area.

  We had a wonderful stay at the El Born apartment in Barcelona! Sarah was wonderful (and very fast) at responding to our inquiries, giving us great tips on how to get from the airport to the apartment, restaurant and other recommendations. The apartment was plenty of space for the two of us and had everything you could need.   We had a wonderful time at Sarah's apartment. Its really central for all the "real" barcelona. We had 5 wonderful days and Jeanette and Fred (Sarah's friends) were absolutely fabulous and really helped us find our feet in Barcelona.
