Have long term relationships with Yo La Tengo, Guided by Voices, Magnetic Fields, Sebadoh, Deerhoof, MBV, Sleater-Kinney, Beck, Wilco, Radiohead, Sloan, PJ Harvey, various post-punk and Canadiana. Currently having affairs with tUnE-yArDs, St. Vincent, Camera Obscura, PS I Love You, and lots more).
- music journalism (I write for CaVaCool, voted one of the top ten music blogs in Canada!)
- science/engineering (currently finishing a M.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering)
- reading (I'm all over the board and love getting new book recommendations! Just finished Beloved for a contemporary lit course. Working on One Hundred Years of Solitude and Amsterdam by Ian McEwan... I can rarely read one book at a time.)
