We are Pacific Grove residents and small business owners i.e. busy and not home very much. We have a retail shop "downtown" called Dress for Change. We sell organic cotton and sustainable fiber clothing for Men, Women and Children. We also have a 2 big girls and a three year old named Hayden and a Queensland Heeler named Pippin. We are big outdoor folk and love to run and cycle. Our life is mostly very quiet and calm and that is what you can expect from a stay at our house. We are happy to answer questions about the area. Our kitchen is yours and if we are cooking you are welcome to join us. The house has a lot of of space and so can you if you wish.

Ann Marie and Luke, and Hayden were great hosts! Our visit to their beautiful home was our first AirBnB experience, and it was a great one. They hosted us at a time when they were very busy with the holidays and their business, but were entirely gracious, friendly and accommodating. Hayden, their three year old, was a pleasure to be around, and we referred to him as a "little Buddha." We enjoyed the comfortable private room, and were welcomed into the rest of the home. We couldn't imagine a better place to stay in PG. It is our custom to take a trip every November to Northern California and the Shenefields' house is blocks away from the main avenue in Pacific Grove. The room was clean and quiet, with very little ambient light from the outside (making it even easier to sleep).

This was another great stay with AirB&B. The house of Ann Marie & Luke has a very nice location in Pacific Grove. Both are very friendly, totally uncomplicated and they can give you good recommendations for outdoor activities. They have a very balanced familylife and they are very nice, quiet and lovely each to each other!!!! This is s.th. special for such a huge family!!! Ann Marie and Luke were good hosts. The bed was very comfortable and warm, which was welcome on a cool night. We got up early and walked to the beach and came back to have a nice chat, fresh fruit, granola, a great cup of strong hot coffee. Hayden is an absolute delight - he's so adorable and very busy. We also made it to town to see their store, which is great! Thanks to you both!

We liked staying at Annmarie and Luke, though they are busy people, Luke organized very useful things for us from Annmaries Store. The body lotion with lavender is really awful! All the family members are friendly and helpfull - we recommend staying at their house. Only the weather was not as warm as we wished it to be. This was the only reason to reduce my rating from five to four stars.

We stayed in Ann Marie & Luke's house about one year ago, and liked it really much. The area is extremely nice, and Luke gave me great advice on where to surf in the neigborhood.

Ann Marie and Luke were lovely hosts, and very generous to us with their spacious, beautiful home. (It's just three blocks from a state park beach, and the neighborhood is utterly quiet and peaceful.) The room was clean, comfortable, and private, and I woke up to find a delicious breakfast waiting for us in the kitchen in the morning. Would definitely stay with them again. Thanks!

We found Ann Marie & Luke to be delightful and accommodating hosts. They offered a healthy breakfast of granola & coffee for us during our stay. We had limited contact with the children, but thought they were all pleasant and well behaved. Pippin is very friendly. Bathroom facilities, while not "en suite," are just across the hall and quite handy. We would certainly consider a return visit with them should the opportunity arise.

Absolutely awesome! They were incredibly kind, fun and generous. Even let me borrow their bike to ride around town for the day while my car stayed parked safely in their driveway=) Their son Hayden is a riot and Pippin, like everyone has attested, is very sweet. Would recommend it to anyone in the area in a heartbeat.

I had a lovely stay with Annmarie, Luke, Hayden and Pippin. Felt at ease to use the kitchen, visit a bit, come and go as was needed for my conference. Hayden was a delight, and I have to say that coming home to Pippin's hearty tail wagging was an extra fun. Thanks to all (and Luke, thanks from my bike!)
