  We've stayed at this apartment for a whole week. Is very clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood is quiet, compared to the city center, which allow us to have very good night sleep. Great supermarkets nearby open 24h. Very close to Jazz bar Smoke. Chris was wonderful even when we forgot our keys at home, he manage to send us another set although he was away. Never had any problems to get home by subway every day. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who goes to NYC.

  Very clean and comfortable. Had to pick up the keys at an alternate location, and had to use paypal for the security deposit, never met the host.

  The apt is furnished as shown--very clean and quiet. Chris was punctual, cordial, and helpful. Great location for subway connections. Wonderful neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and all necessary conveniences. We would stay there again.

  the apartment was just as described and therefore expected - spacious, clean, safe, superbly located only a block from the metro and contained everything we needed. Chris was a great host. he always met us on time, was always contactable and made an excellent guide book replacement. we were there for 10 days and our only drama was we lost the heat (and hot water) for a night - but Chris's relentless nagging of the super meant it was restored by the time we needed to use it.   We stayed at Chris's apartment for a whole week, in December 2009, and only have great things to say about it! The apartment itself is quite big, comfortable and - really important if you're visiting during Winter time - very warm, due to the powerful heating system. All the utilities (micro wave, fridge, etc) were functioning and the neighbourhood is very pleasant and calm.
