My name is Maria. I live in Houston, Texas after living many years in Latin America. I speak English, Spanish and a little Portuguese.
I am a specialist in conflict resolution. I LOVE to travel! In my (limited) free time I love babysitting my nieces and nephews, reading great books at cozy cafes and cooking good food for friends and family.
I love Latin American food, literature and coffee and especially love conversation about any and all of these.
I was an English as a Second Language teacher for many years and truly enjoyed learning about the lives and cultures of my students. That is also why I chose to be a part of Airbnb, to learn more about the culture of the places I visit and learn about the lives of the people I meet.
