Open Source Software
My day job consists of managing an international team of open source software rock stars. When not working, I enjoy travelling, biking, reading, spiritual development, and various other pursuits. I often travel for work and after my stay at official conference hotels is over, I enjoy meeting people who actually live in the cities I am staying in.
I LOVE to cook and will likely cook something while I'm at your place if a kitchen is available. Likely something Indian themed.
When I travel, I like to do a mix of visiting the touristy sites and also just walking around aimlessly for hours, finding little hole in the wall places to eat, and getting lost. I once spent a whole night walking through the streets of Kyoto, feeding myself through snacks at 7-11 and using the train station tower to keep my sense of direction. I also really enjoy exploring the counter-culture in the places I visit...artists, activists, Burning Man types and all those who don't fit into the status quo.
