  Couldn't have been better! The cottage is exactly as pictured & 1 blk from the beach/pier. Never met the host but he took care of us nonetheless, always responding quickly to all calls/txt. The full size kitchen was great & if it had been warmer, we would've cooked out on the grill in the nice yard. The info book Omar leaves is helpful but needs updated to include FYI for guest to be aware of the parking restictions on the street for Thurs/Fri mornings.....I got a $45 souvenir from the city...   We had the best time in Omar's cozy bungalow! Location/neighborhood is great, ocean is just around the corner. Omar was a great host and he makes you feel most welcome! The bungalow is well equipped, everything you need for a good vacation is there and Omar is always willing to help you with anything you might require. We are definitely staying in this place again!   From the beginning, my wife and I felt like we were staying at a friends house, it felt like home. We normally stay in a hotel for business, so this was a very nice break from the normal check in circus. The bungalow was clean and had all the amenities of home.

The bungalow was clean and had everything we needed. Clean towels, sheets, floors and kitchen. Walking distance to Redondo beach and pier.   I stayed with my boyfriend at Omar's cottage for three nights and it was amazing. The bungalow is so adorable and perfectly situated on a quiet block by the Redondo Beach Pier. The bungalow was clean and well-stocked with towels, lotions, and shampoos. The little back patio was awesome and perfect for grilling out.   I stayed seven nights in August 2011 at Omar's bungalow in Redondo Beach and had a great time. The pictures Omar posts accurately depict the space. The beach is just around the corner and the neighborhood is safe. It's about a 20-40 minute drive to many of the main tourist sites in L.A. (traffic permitting!).   This is a darling bungalow just one block away from the Pier and the beach. The place is nicely furnished with all the essentials, the host is very good at immediately responding to communication, and that will make your stay not only hassle-free, but very enjoyable.   The Tunney-Garrison Beach Bungalow was quaint and lovely. It has a fantastic location; I easily walked to the beach, shops & restaurants, and the grocery store. I didn't rent a car, so location was key. (I was able to take a cab to/from LAX for about $35 each way, in case you're wondering about the feasibility of that).   Really enjoyed the stay at the bungalow. The place was just what we needed to unwind. We walked to the pier almost every day. The weather was fabulous! Be sure to check out Old Tony's, great food, service and a wonderful family atmosphere. The view was great too. We also enjoyed Polly's on the Pier. I would recommend Omar's place to any one who needs a quiet, safe, friendly place to unwind for a few days.

  Omar was absolutely accommodating. My boyfriend flew in from Australia on the morning we were to check-in, and he allowed for us to check-in early so that my boyfriend could shower and re-organize.   Great stay at the Bungalow--cozy, small home in a wonderful neighborhood of Redondo Beach, very close to the beach and pier (2 blocks at most). Omar was available with questions and very helpful. We really enjoyed the backyard patio space and the clawfoot tub.

  I recently stayed here and it was amazing! The apartment is wonderful and the location is perfect. It is within walking distance of all nearby beaches, Starbucks, CVS, Whole Foods, great food, and the bus to LAX. You couldn't ask for a better place to spend a few days in California. Very relaxing!!

  Omar's bungalow is in a great spot, nice comfortable little place to stay. I slept very well there, it is a quiet neighborhood and is also walking distance to the beach. My only complaint was that it gets a bit chilly in there if the weather isn't cooperating (I was there in February and had some cold/rain) and the little space heater couldn't keep the place warm. Having said that, I am sure in sunny/warm months it is really comfortable. Also has plenty of parking which is helpful.

  I needed a quiet place to get some writing done and take in some sunshine, and Omar's bungalow filled the bill perfectly. Although small, it is beautifully appointed and well laid out. The beach itself is amazing also; it takes about an hour to walk it in each direction (!) and isn't overcrowded.   There are too many great things to say about the bungalow! It was perfect for the R&R I needed. There were a few minor glitches and Omar was very responsive to all of them. The bathtub was great; at the suggestion of another post I brought my own candles and bath salts/soaps and I would recommend that as well. Just as everyone else says, the neighbors are very sweet :) I highly recommend staying here!

  I am soo late on doing this. I tried once but I think computer error got me. Loved Omar's place! Neat, cute, close to LAX.... No regrets whatsoever. I have never had an easier experience picking someone up at the airport. We couldn't complain! And the bed..... I am still missing that sleep! So comfy! Next time I am definitely visiting in the summer time!

  Omar was such a great host. The house was very cute and comfortable. The neighbors were very friendly and the neighborhood was in a great location. We walked just about everywhere. Omar was kind enough to let us stay an extra night because we loved the place so much. I fully plan on returning! If you stay here stop at the Cozy Cafe next to the Wells Fargo on Torrence and PCH.

  We had a great stay at Omar's. The accommodation is a cute bungalow in a residential street just two blocks from the beach in Redondo Beach. The area felt safe and the bungalow had all that we needed with a small kitchen and good sized bathroom. Omar was friendly and helpful. When we didn't know what time we were going to arrive he left the keys for us so we didn't have to stress about getting there at a specific time when we had a long drive. I would definitely recommend staying at Omar's!

  Omar's place is wonderfully located just a five minute walk all the fun at Redondo Pier and easily accessible to Highway 1. The cottage was adorable. My boyfriend and I loved sitting on the nicely landscaped back porch and were very happy to collapse into the large, comfortable bed every night.   This is such an amazing find. I wanted something by the water that was not super expensive but not cheap and dirty. This abode is a quick walk to the pier and beach. The bungalow has a bathroom, kitchen and living area. 5 minute walk to the beach and pier, nice yard in the back, and a touch of culture since it's a historical landmark.   We overnighted at the Bungalows and it was a great experience. Omar collected us from the airport and assisted with directions and tips. The Bungalow was comfortable, in a great location and felt like staying in a country cottage right down to the white picket fence... don't get that kind of 'home' experience in a hotel.

  I was new to airbnb and Omar made the process very easy. He was really friendly and accommodating. The beach bungalow was clean and quaint and perfect for two people to stay at. My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary and everything went famously. It's a very quick walk to the beach and the pier (which is SO nice). This was a REALLY great find.   I loved this charming restored cottage. It had such clean lines and simplicity that just the lack of visual clutter calmed my spirit. It was a breeze to settle in and pack up when done.   We enjoyed our stay at this little bungalow, within walking distance to the Rendondo Pier. Taking advantage of the claw-foot tub was a great to relax after a long day, and there's plenty of hot water. The cottage itself, built in 1914, is a neat example of craftsman-style architecture with features such as a built-in writer's desk and dressers in the bathroom.   I stayed the week and it was a great cottage and location. The place has a stove, fridge, microwave and pots/pans etc. of you want to do a bit of cooking. It was clean and a pleasant stay. Omar is easy to deal with and a mellow guy. Parking is easy and so is walking to the pier a couple blocks or great restaurants even closer like Tara Thai or Lupita's.

  awesome place. comfortable bed and great host. has small kitchen and a clean coffee pot- what else do you need? thanks for not having cable tv, it is a good thing- this is south bay, get outside. Have a drink at Tonys upstairs, walk to dinner- great thai all over the place, head to hermosa beach for sushi, fish tacos or yogurt. Get there before 7pm- happy hours all over the place. Its a 2 mile walk each way, but most of it is on the boardwalk at the beach- great way to spend the evening.

  I would rate this little cottage as four star...Omar welcomed my two fur babies and they enjoyed playing in the fenced in yard. We enjoyed our walks to the pier and beach and especially loved the fact that california rumbled her way into our hearts. We were there to experience the ground shaking. It was quite an eye opener.
