Great place. Meadow managed to let us stay at her place on the marathon weekend when we arrived very late and left very early. Squeaky clean and well taken care of.
Great place to come back to at the end of the day. Conveniently located and close to the subway. Meadow was a great host and made me feel very much welcomed. Clean and comfortable place. You can't go wrong!!
Had a great time in nyc ! meadow was very welcoming and friendly. The place is very close to 116th station on line 6 so that's perfect to go downtown quickly. The room is spacious. Worth going!

My comments in Meadows guest book says it alll...." the sweetest seed in the Big Apple...." Great neighbourhood, super Spanish / Cuban food....so close to 116th St Subway....absolutely safe at night...( had a few late ones with just a couple of Mohitoes on board to test the system ) Meadows place is great, very clean, organised and a nice vibe.

Meadow gave great recommendations on places to eat, places to see and help with general tips in New York. I also found her very respectful of my space.
The room is spacious with two desks, a comfortable double bed and air con. I especially liked the large chair you can sit and relax in if you want to watch some TV or read a book. The location is also very convenient to the subway and also the crosstown bus so don't fret about getting around.

Meadow's place is absolutely adorable and in a great location! The pictures are an exact match and the place is extremely clean and tidy. She offers a lot of helpful information in the form of menus and maps and she is willing to answer any and all questions you may have. Staying with Meadow was great. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. She was understanding of us first-time airbnb users! The best thing was how close her place was to the subway! Meadow was very accommodating to my last minute plans. She had guests before and after me, but she had the room ready right away. The apartment is two blocks from the subway. If you've never been to New York, this is essential. The room is very cute and fully loaded. Ha! There is a bed, a tv, closet space, towels and even a basket of random toiletries. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
It was cool at Meadows place. A comfortable, clean and nicly decorated room. Its in Spanish Harlem, very close to the Metro station, which brings you in 15mins to downtown Manhattan. Meadow gave many tipps, help whenever help were needed. All in all - very nice stay. All time again!
My boyfriend and I stayed with Meadow last week for 8 days, I cannot say enough good things about the trip! Meadows apartment is AWESOME, it's in a great location, close to so many great little spots and super convenient, close to the subway as well. The decor in the place is sweet, Meadow is a cool chick. A very enjoyable stay. Meadow is a good host, the apartment is very pleasant with good kitchen facilities. We found the subway close by very convenient for getting to the city in 10-15 mins. We even managed to avoid the snow in NY each side of our stay!

Meadow is a terrific hostess. The room very large with bed, chair, and desk. The bed was OK, but not great, and that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Convenient transportation, nice walk to the park and museums. I would stay with Meadow again.
Meadow's NYComfort is an excellent place to stay for a visit to New York. The room and apartment is comfortable and neat, with good facilities and appliances. The neighbourhood is interesting, with some tasty restaurants in the area. Useful transportation connections are close by. Meadow herself is a warm personality and a fine host.
Meadow is a very sweet host and makes you feel real welcome. The apartment is nice and clean and the room has basically everything you need in it. Having my own set of keys was the icing on the cake that made me able to enjoy the city to the fullest at all times. The location is great and it doesnt take long to get anywhere, by subway or cab. I would definetly stay at her place again and will recommend it to anyone. Feels like I made a new friend :)
I can highly recommend this place. Meadow is a really great and helpful host. When we looked for places to go she helped us searching it on the Internet and gave us some Insider tips. Her apartment is also very clean and you will be fine in the neighborhood as long as you some common sense. The subway station is only one and a half block away which is very convenient.

Meadow is a very accommodating host and her place is really cute and comfy.
The subway is only two blks from her place and it takes you directly downtown (or uptown!). It also stops in Grand Central Station and you can connect to virtually any train from there. So very, very convenient. The general area that Meadow lives in is cool to walk around as well, you find some neat little stores where you'd least expect them. I loved exploring!
Meadow is a great host, she thought of everything. You have plugs, xtra shampoo's, and all the maps you need for a well organised visit to the city. The 6 line was 2 minutes from her appartment. The commute was easy. The neighbourhood wonderfull with a breakfast place that makes a fabulous expresso!! I had a really positive experience with Meadow. She was so prompt and friendly in her email communications -- and was a wonderful hostess. The room is just as pictured -- bed, as she says, very comfortable for a pull-out -- everything clean and cheerful. The location (very near East Side subway) is ideal and Meadow suggested excellent cheap places for me to eat in the neighborhood.
We really enjoyed our stay in Meadow's Harlem nest.

This was my first time using airbnb and Meadows place is a great find. The room is beautiful and well kept along with the rest of the apartment. Meadow is a wonderful hostess, very helpful and kind. The apartment is close to the subway though I walked most of the time. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Meadow again.

I stayed with Meadow for two nights and her apartment is really nice, clean, the room is very spacious and she's a great host very welcoming.
Also, the location is really good with the line 6 you can get everywhere and it only takes 45min from there to get to JFK with the 6 and then the express E train.

Meadow was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome from the start. Her apartment is lovely and she's set up the rented room really well. This area of (Spanish) Harlem is quite interesting - we especially recommend the vegetarian burritos at the 24hr Mexican restaurant on the corner :) We enjoyed walking around the area and over to Central Park. Staying with Meadow was an extremely good experience in all sorts of ways. She's a calm and accommodating host, very welcoming and easy to be around. Can't recommend staying at her place more highly -- very enjoyable staying in the area too, lively at all times of day or night. This was our first time using AirBnB, we were so lucky to chose Meadow's apt. The apt is very clean and the room is very comfortable and as beautiful as it looks in the pictures :), also very close to the subway. It is the first I use airbnb and I am so lucky to meet Meadow. She is so friendly, warm, and generous that I feel like getting along with family. Her place is also excellent, just like coming back to home that I can really relax after a tired New York City day tour. Our stay at in NYC was a lovely experience thanks to Meadow. The room was quite spacious and, like the rest of the house, was clean and nicely decorated. To top it off it was right near the subway station.
Meadow was also lovely enough to let us disturb her in the morning to store our luggage and was very hospitable throughout. We definitely would stay there again and thoroughly recommend it anyone.

Staying at Meadow was fun and it’s a great person to meet, very friendly and talkative. The room is clean and tidy, (she even made some spots available in her fridge and cupboard for guests) and it’s located just next to the subway in East Harlem. To go downtown by metro, it takes about 30 min. Worth meeting!
A unique experience! Meadow was nice enough to accomodate my early arrival and allow me to leave my bags prior to check in. I had plenty of rest, which was my top priority. I loved the location and was able to visit spanish historical/ cutural sites so close to Meadows place I walked there and enjoyed every minute of it.
Staying at Meadows was great: the room is large and comfortable, the bed (even being a pull-out bed) has a very comfortable matress, the apartment is spot-clean, and Meadow is a very nice and generous hostess!

I stayed with Meadow for a whole month! The room was spacious, private and comfortable. The appartment is literally up the street form the subway station. I was able to get from the appartment to any place in new york in no time! Meadow was an absolutley amazing host. She's really extremely nice and friendly, made me feel at home and very comfortable. She was also very helpful and always ready to answer any questions I had.I highly recommend Meadow's place to anyone planning on visiting NYC!!
My girlfriend and I stayed for a long weekend last week and couldn't have been happier. It's great and really does deserve all these good reviews. Meadow really made us feel at home - balancing perfectly the homely welcome and local advice (she drew us an amazing map of local restaurants) with privacy and our own space etc.

Meadow was friendly and helpful. The apartment was extremely clean and well decorated, comparable to a five-star hotel. The building has a tight security and is just two blocks away from the 6 subway station and the 116 bus stop. The room has everything you will need. Staying here made us feel at home.

I booked Meadow’s place last minute, she was very accommodating and friendly. The room had all the comforts of home, very clean and spacious. Quick walk to the 6 subway line, cool neighbourhood, really good authentic Mexican food! Thanks Meadow for all the shopping tips, made some amazing finds!
We stayed one night with Meadow. The place was lovely, and Meadow was very flexible about our arrival time (which changed due to factors outside our control). Very convenient to the M60 bus if you need to get to/from Laguardia. Sorry we couldn't stay longer; maybe next time!

As a single female traveler, safety is a top priority for me, she gave me tips on when would be best to cab it back and when I could take the subway - I always felt safe in the neighborhood. We stayed 4 nights in Meadows lovely apartment whilst Meadow was away. The apartment is great, with a very convenient location for quickly accessing downtown New York. It was so nice to have an apartment in New York so we could feel like locals instead of tourists and I would recommend the apartment as a great place to stay in New York.
Myself and the missus stayed at Meadow's apartment and it was just perfect. Great location, clean, comfortable and Meadow herself is a delight.

The last four days of our New York holiday we stayed at Meadow’s place.....We love you Meadow for your hospitality and friendly energy. Your spacy livingroom was changed into our living/ bedroom, in which it was not difficult at all to feel at home. Also we loved the Harlem environment in which your house is located. Meadow is total sweetheart and her place is amazing: the room is huge with good light, trees right outside the windows, very neat and clean, new wood floors, and 1.5 blocks to a convenient subway stop that goes all the way to the south of Manhattan on a single train, and very quiet compared to where I've stayed previously in NYC.

I stayed for almost one month and it was great having a comfortable, quiet, and secure place to come back after an exhausting day in the city. The room has wifi and air conditioning, which was amazing. The location was unbeatable, absolutely the nicest part of East Harlem. For the price and the location alone, this is highly recommended.

Meadow is a warm and friendly person, with a cozy apartment in SOHA. Her place is very clean, and the building has a doorman. Just a short walk to Central Park.
Meadow is lovely and her place is sweet! : Big room, private, nice light, eclectically decorated. The sofa bed is super comfy and easy to pull out. The apartment is in doorman building one block away from the subway. Meadow can advise you on where to go, what to do and how to get there-- or you can just use her WiFi to plan things yourself! This place is a great home base to explore the city from-- whether you are staying a few days or a few weeks. You really couldn't ask for anything more!
