  Ron and Tadaaki are super nice and friendly. They gave me detailed info about how to get to their apt, where to visit/eat, and how to go to take the metro to the airport (which is super easy from their apt, even for someone so map-blind like me). The apt is in a great location, so close to Metro and Picasso museum and many nice restaurants and cafes and shops. My Spain trip would not be so great without them. Thank you so much guys.

  This was a great place to stay, in a very convenient neighborhood. Ron and Tadaaki made us feel right at home in their apartment. They waited up past midnight(!) for us to arrive, had a list of recommendations on things to do/eat/see in barca (almost like an insider's guide), and were extremely helpful and pleasant.   I agree with all positive reviews on the site. One thing I would caution is that it's a front room on a very noisy street. It is difficult to relax there during the day unless you shut yourself in with the shutter and solid window cover, but then you have no air and no light.   ron and tadaaki take great care and interest in their guests. and they know barcelona so they've got great tips. the apartment is amazing! it has been furnished with a lot care and really feels like a home. the bed is the second most comfortable bed i have ever slept in!   The apartment was beautiful in a lovely part of Barcelona just a couple of minutes walk from the Cathedral etc and seconds away from Estacio de France a lovely old train station that means its an easy and cheap trip from the airport and a godsend if you need directions as its a famous landmark with locals. They were gracious hosts, respecting our privacy but at the same time open to sharing with us all their inside tips to Barcelona and super helpful with navigating the neighborhood. If we are ever in Barcelona again, we will definitely stay here.

  My time spent at Ron's apartment was fantastic. It's a beautiful space and the bedroom was large and comfortable. Ron was very generous with his time, showing me on the map he provided where the off the beaten track places in Barcelona are and the best way to get there for either expediency or atmosphere. Good restaurant recommendations, too. It was great getting the local perspective while there and I will definitely stay again when in Barcelona. Maybe a warmer month this time!

  Wonderful apartment and superbly located. All the major sites were within 20 min strolling distance. Ron was very accommodating and gave us lots of suggestions about local places to explore. We didn't find street noise to be a problem at all. It was an absolute pleasure to stay with them.

Being in the center of all the action in Born, and having easy access to the sights and sounds of the Gothic Quarter could not have been better.   Charming hosts and very comfortable apartment. Thoughtful touches such as the slippers and fridge space make you feel very welcome. Found the street noise a little intrusive but you get used to it! I can recommend the Big Fish restaurant just around the corner.

  Allow me to echo all the other reviews: an ultra convenient location, super cool apartment, and very welcoming hosts. You could, of course, stay at a hotel or another airbnb, but then you'd miss out on Tadaaki's zucchini bread, insiders' advice on great restaurants, and late night chats over a bottle of robust Spanish red. My only hesitation in speaking so highly of a stay at their place is that I fear it will be booked next time I visit Barcelona!

  A great room, with great hosts. The apartment is great - a super location, a nice little balcony (including a piece just for your room), high ceilings, and a very comfortable bed. Ron and Tadaaki were so friendly and helpful. I felt like I got to know Barcelona so much better by talking over my plans with them. They had a couple out-of-the-way restaurant suggestions that I never would have found on my own. I heartily recommend staying with them.

  Comerç 27 is, quite simply, a stunning apartment where you'll feel right at home and you couldn't ask for a better location. Waking up to a tea on the balcony before heading out for a day in Barcelona was an amazing way to experience the city. Ron and Tadaaki are amazing hosts.   Ron and Tadaaki were tremendous hosts and their apartment is breathtaking! A 19th century gem right in the middle of everything and as comfortable as my own home. They were super accommodating and gave an abundance of suggestions for things to do, places to see and good eats in the short time I was in Barcelona. I was disappointed the room was not available when I was coming back through Barcelona the following week!
