Hi, we are Paul and Ji. We are newlyweds.

(Paul works in marketing at the corporate headquarters of a large company and Ji is a teacher. On the side, Paul researches and writes. His book will soon be published by Rutgers University Press. Paul grew up in Princeton, New Jersey. Ji's parents moved to the States when she was just a baby. She grew up in Texas.)

We absolutely LOVE to travel and have an extensive LONELY PLANET guide book collection to prove it! We have traveled to 6 out of 7 continents. One of our most recent overseas adventures included discovering the beautiful country of Australia and Paul had the wonderful opportunity to explore Scandinavia. We are also interested in house exchanges/swaps which allows people wanting to stay in NYC to live in our home, while we live in theirs.

We truly appreciate the diversity and cultural offerings NYC affords. It is one of the most vibrant, bustling cities in the world, and definitely in the United States!

We thoroughly enjoy hosting and providing tips and information you may be curious about during your stay in the Big Apple. We can provide information on how to take advantage of discounts on Broadway shows and entertainment options, as well as museum admissions, (many of which are free or by donation on designated days).

Great city, great location and most importantly, great hosts! We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and we couldn't have wished for a better home away from home. The location was fabulous...walking distance to the subway, Central Park, the MET and great eating places. Waking up every morning to the breathtaking view was another major plus point. I visit NYC regularly for work and plan to stay frequently at this great apartment. It's quiet, clean, well furnished, and located close to a number of great restaurants, museums and shops. Ji is an excellent host and makes a stay easy and enjoyable!.

Jiyong was a great host! She left us with a lot of information about the museums, hit spot and great restaurants. The apartment itself was amazing too! Very secure location and close to subway! We enjoyed our stay in New York! Thank you Jiyong & Paul!!!

We were very happy with our stay. The apartment is very comfortable and personal so that we felt very much at home. The location is convenient to many museums as well as to numerous reasonable restaurants. We anticipate staying with Paul and Jiyoung again.

As an airbnb host myself I recognized all the hard work that had gone into making this apartment the perfect New York pied a terre. All the small details were thought of from shampoo to filtered water, laundry cards, maps, wifi, condiments etc. I adored the cosiness, comfort and elegant simplicity of the apartment and the views were indeed to die for. Nicely furnished apartment with a great view, and a gracious and responsive host. Ji met me at the apartment even though my flight arrived late at night, and she was very responsive to all my questions. It's a clean and quiet place, yet close to many restaurants and stores. Also, great for jogging in Central Park, and as a bonus, the building has an exercise room. Will definitely stay there again!

Appartement agréable très bien situé dans un quartier vivant avec plein de petits retaurants. Un peu bruyant la nuit, fenêtres pas très bien isolées. métro à proximité. L'état de propreté (frigo avec des denrées moisies, poubelles non vidées) laisse à désirer, même si notre hôte s'est efforcé de faire un peu de ménage quand nous sommes arrivés. Accueil sympathique avec ordinateur laissé à disposition.

Paul and Ji are wonderfully kind, thoughtful and generous people and the perfect hosts. They went way out of their way to make me feel at home in NYC and to solve my dumb-tourist-from-the-south problems. Paul even helped me carry my bags up and down the stairs. I now count them as 2 of my best friends, and can hardly wait to visit them again! EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS AMAZING!!! My sister and I stayed here for 2 weeks over Sep/Oct 2011 and had a truly wonderful stay. Ji and Paul were spectacular hosts who went out of their way to make things comfortable for us. Ji even met us at the apartment at 11.30pm on a Saturday night (she was out of town!) to welcome us into her home. This WAS wonderful and gave us an opportunity to meet her in person.
