I am from New York.

More »
September 2011FANTASTIC LOCATION!! And Jeremy is very reliable and easy to communicate with. He always answers his phone and is always polite. Definitely the best aspect of this apartment is the location. There are tons of restaurants, shops and subways. It's also a very descent size for 2. The downside is that its a little dark with few windows but the asian decoration is very pleasing.
Location Location!!! The apartment is perfect for a single traveler or a couple. A little bit dark because its windows don't face the street, although you still get some light from outside. Best: A/C, WiFi, 2nd floor without lift and LOCATION! I will be back again for sure.
Jeremy was a great host in terms of easy flexibility with my arrival time and punctual and organized when it came time to leave. He is ideal if you want a host who cares about the accommodations but does not impose at all during your stay. It is a beautiful apartment, well cared for and in an ideal neighbourhood both in terms of all that surrounds you and easy access to a range of subway lines all within 2 - 10 mins walk. It is well furnished and while I was alone would be ideal for a... More »
The best thing about this apartment is the NoLita location. It's *amazing*! There is so much great food and cool shops in walking distance, and it's around the corner from a great bookstore, McNally-Jackson. I didn't realize that there really is a big difference between SoHo and NoLIta, but SoHo has the crowds and tourists, NoLita feels like a real neighborhood. A very upscale and trendy one, but still a neighborhood. The apartment was clean and well-decorated. Jeremy seemed nice enough.... More »
The appartment has a perfect location for tourism, shopping, cafes and restaurants etc. It is hard to beat the atmossfere in Little Italy, Nolita, Soho. Good for single or couple Jeremy is friendly. The appartment is a bit dark and tatty.
Great location! We had no problems getting the keys when we arrived late in the evening.
The apartment was as described and considering the fact it is in SoHo it was a great size. It is on the back of the building and was quite. The rate seemed reasonable . you will find lots of stores and shops in area and subway near by. There are also lots of parking garages nearby if you have a vehicle but be prepared to pay.
My girlfriend and I stayed in Jeremy's apartment and enjoyed it throughly. The apartment is just as nice as advertised, and the location is perfect. Everything one could possibly want is just around the corner. If you're two people staying in NYC for a few days or a week then Jeremy's apartment is the perfect place.
Very nice apartment, in a very good place. We loved this time with my wife and son! We will probably rent again Jeremy's flat for our next trip in NYC, and soon as possible. Thanks again Jeremy.
The location was amazing and apartment felt so cozy and inviting. It was an easy move in and the same for out. The decor of the house was awesome too, so much eye-candy. Also, no loud neighbors and constant warmth. My only bump in the road was no internet or cable my last two days, but I survived just fine off of the happening neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.
Jeremy was great at reponding our messages even late at night! The place was very clean, confortable and the location is perfect. Super safe, planty of restaurants and stores in the area. Metro stations are just about 3 min walking. I definately recomend Jeremy's place it's just great!!
Jeremy was very kind and his place was comfortable and had a great location. Thanks again Jeremy!
Jeremy's place was just as described and pictured. It could not be more convenient to the 6 and to a variety of other subway lines. I had business in Tribeca and Soho as well as at Hunter College and it was the perfect spot to get to all of those quickly and easily. The apartment was warm even on what this California girl considered VERY cold days, and for when I needed a little more heat there was a plug-in heater that worked like a charm. Jeremy was great and personable and helpful. The one... More »
The host canceled my reservation 6 days before arrival.
Stayed at E 44th - great location; nice doorman building; large for a studio; surprisingly quiet; no problems with DSL internet; friendly host
Stayed here a few days with my girlfriend, it was really great, nice and clean apartment, and you can't beat the location! Fantastic. Jeremy is a very nice and guy who you always can call if you have any questions or need help with anything, i definitely recommend him and his apartment!
Very satisfied...nicely decorated flat and clean too...the neighborhood is very fashionable...and accessible to diff subway stations. Many restaurants and convenient stores nearby some even open 24 hrs. Just dont bring huge luggage as the building has no elevator. Good thing the flat is on 3rd floor only...i would stay here again and again.
Jeremy's chic little one bedroom is as pictured on air bnb...tastefully decorated in oriental motif, wifi, cable, and relatively quiet, given the neighborhood. Speaking of which right out your door is SOHO/NOLITA! Two outstanding restaurants right on the block - Torrisi Italian Specialties and Barboosa, both recently reviewed in the NY Times! A well stocked neighborhood grocery store and a wonderful book store down the street; the New Museum in the Bowery a block away, and a subway... More »
Jeremy was a fantastic host. He responded immediately to my message and was a reliable contact leading up to my arrival. I had never used Airbnb before so was a little nervous about it all but I had no need to worry! Jeremy let me check in an hour earlier than planned and was very nice and flexible. The apartment was great. It is in an amazing location, literally two minutes away from the Spring St Subway. Lots of shops, restaurants, grocery stores, dry cleaners, everything you need was... Place was in a great location, lots of places to eat around and easy to walk around to different sites. The internet worked the whole time but was a little slow every now and again. Bed was comfy and shower pressure was great as was the constant hot water. Downside was the cleanliness of the place, particularly the bathroom, a bit of dust around the place and quite a small bathroom but thats what you get in New york! kitchen not properly equipped for cooking so we always ate out. Fridge was... More »
The location of the apartment is fantastic, in Little Italy, a few blocks from Chinatown and SOHO. There are great restaurants, bars and clothing store righ next to the apartment. There is a subway stop a block away from the apartment, so it made it easy to get around NYC, in addtion there are plenty of cabs available near the apartment. The apartment itself was as expected, a one bedroom flat. It is located on the 3rd floor, which was fine. The apartment was clean and had all the... More »
The location was good apart from the fact as the United Nations General Assembly was meeting we had to fight our way through New York's finest to get home and the busues kept being cancelled. However the room was big and comfortable. Fine if you are eating out as there was limited cookware and tableware. Jeremey is very nice and helpful but it would be a good idea if he just got rid of all the left-overs in the fridge and bathroom (why do people just leave their rubbish behind? John and... More »
It was easy, comforbale, great location and bigger than in the pictures. If I come back, I will defe contact Jeremy. He was nice, kind and easy to deal with! we had a great time in NY! Easy getting the keys and easy to check out!
Jeremy was responsive and went out of his way to make arrangements for key exchanges easy. The new A/C worked great and the location was great for some work I was in town for that was near the UN building. Next time I am in town for this project I will try to book this place again.
The perfect place to sleep. If you plan on being out all day and just need to rest your head this place is great. Jeremy was accommodating and pleasant. Good location. Would recommend to those not wanting luxury but just a clean place to stay.
My parents stayed there for a week and loved the place its location and the friendly owner. Great !!!!!
We stayed at the apt. on 44th street. It is big for a studio but not very clean. There was loose dirt on the floor and just didn't appear to be clean. Jeremy is very nice and was very responsive but with the dirty and NO Air Conditioner, we probably won't stay again.
Jeremy was very nice but the bathroom was dirty and the flat has no air conditioning. It would be miserable on hot days.
Jeremy was quick to respond to inquiries and questions as we planned the visit as well as prompt and helpful about explaining how things worked as we began our stay. The studio is right near Grand Central (Metro North, #4, 5, 6, 7, S Subway) and some great restaurants (Nirvana - Indian cuisine - for dinner, Madison Restaurant -your basic NYC diner - for breakfast) & bars (Ginger Man - with beers from around the world on tap) in the area, clean, and has all the basics you need (also close to... I stayed at this place in May 2010 and to sum up we could say: - Location is great. Close to everything. - Bathroom is dirty and a bit smelly, I think it doesn't have good air circulation and needs a huge and deep cleaning. - Jeremy is nice, it seemed to me that he had a lot on his plate when I arrived there, but he tried to make the best out of it. For instance, the place was not clean because the cleaning lady failed to come and he started cleaning up the place himself, which was good... More »
We stayed a couple of days in New York in May 2010 and chose this apartment as it is pretty central to all we wanted to see. Jeremy was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself was very comfortable and quiet (opposite an office block with no through traffic). If you are looking for somewhere comfortable and quirky with a great location, this is the place to stay, you just have to remember that you are staying in someone's home and their personal belongings are left... East 44th Street apartment was great; very spacious for a studio and very comfortable; great hood and a secure building.
Great location, clean place and Jeremy was VERY helpful. I'd book again. -J
The place was in good shape. Great location. A few blocks from the #6 subway line. We would have no problem staying there again.
IF you believe location is everything this studio is for you. It is a 'working' apt. i.e. there is food in the fridge and if you arrive early ( as we did) the dishes may not be washed and food may be in the fridge. The host is very pleasant but he is not running a hotel so don't expect that kind of spotlessness. I did save $18 a night over my last visit to my hometown (NYC) when I stayed at a nearby apt. hotel that featured full kitchen studio apts. for $150 but internet access was an extra.
Great location, typical NYC apartment, though much bigger space than expected for a studio in that part of town. Review by Polly G was not totally accurate. The place is a little grungy, but I expect that from a typical NYC apt, and for this price and location, it's worth it. Friendly doormen, felt very safe walking home late. Jeremy was great, sending our deposit back promptly by mail when he missed the check out appointment. Thanks for the stay!
This was the first time that my boyfriend and I have used Airbnb so had no idea what to expect. We had absolutely nothing to worry about. From initially enquiring through the site to meeting Jeremy at the apartment – it was so easy! Jeremy was extremely helpful and always responded quickly to any queries I had. He met us at the time agreed and showed us around the apartment. The apartment was exactly as described. Its central location provided us with an excellent base for us to explore... More »
This was one of the dirtiest places we've ever stayed in. On arrival his food was in the fridge, the stove wasn't cleaned but filled with scraps of food and what not. The sink hadn't been cleaned and we're not even gonna talk about the dishbrush. The bathroom was dirty in general, there was loose dirt on the floor. The only thing that was actually clean in the bathroom was the sink. There was damage to the ceiling which caused it to break up and thus falling down on the sink and anyone... More »
Only a block from the UN, directly across from the UNICEF gift shop & offices as well as UN Church Center. I would definitely recommend this. Jeremy's studio was exactly as pictured, and he was a most courteous host.
We had a great time, the apartment was much larger than I would have expected in central NY and the location was just excellent. The host was really friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
Despite a short wait for the key to arrive on our first morning, the rest of the stay was perfect. Anytime we needed help with anything, which was rare, it was quickly answered. The apt looked exactly like the photos. The location was great. It was well worth the price and I would definitely stay there again.
Great place to stay! For my first time in NYC this was the best location. It is close to everything. I would stay here again.
Good location close to Grandcentral and UN. God to have a doorman even if it was a safe area. We have nothing to complaine about. Had a nice week there. 100 dollars a night was a fair price for the apartment.
Great place, just 10 minute walk to Grand Central. The appartment itself is comfortable enough and it's worth every dollar. We had a great week!
The place was awesome! It was very close to the subway lines and in a very desirable location in Midtown. The location was also very walkable to many locations like 5th Ave. We enjoyed out stay very much!
