  Sean was great, and the place was exactly as in the pictures. Not the Hilton, but a funky little basement room with stone and brick walls and big old wooden beams, withing a stones throw of the Old North Church. Cool place to stay in the historic North End.

  An excellent location, the apartment is fine and everything works. We had a bit of a problem with flooding as it rained heavily but Sean has assured us this will be rectified for the future - you may want to check ahead of time if this is the case. It is also worth bearing in mind it is a basement flat so virtually no outside light gets in, there are plenty of lights in the apartment however. It was a decent stay overall but we have stayed in better for less outside of Boston.

  This is a beautiful, cosy apartment and though we only stayed one night, we thoroughly enjoyed using it as a base from which to go out and explore Boston.

  Everything went great. The studio is as described. It was really easy to communicate with Sean. The Green line is really close from the studio so it's easy to go anywhere you want in Boston.There are also a few restaurants/cafes nearby. It was my first airbnb experience and I have no complaint!

  We stayed one night to catch a game at Fenway before heading to the Cape for the week. Ideal location. The cab to Fenway was $10. Great neighborhood, we walked back to the apartment after spending time in a pub on Beacon following the game. There are several public garages for overnight parking within walking distance also. You cannot park on the street. Sean was super nice and very flexible. Place is cozy and a great find, especially if you want to be within walking distance to downtown... More »

  Sean met us at the studio for our arrival and was kind enough to acquaint us with the neighborhood. The location is great and you get exactly what you see. We'd stay here again.

  Our stay in Boston was awesome! Sean´s basement is perfectly ubicated near lots of restaurants and pubs. The Freedom Trial passes right infront of the door. He is super nice and always concerned about our needs. 100% recommendable!

  Sean's place is in a great location. Near the top of beacon hill it's a short walk to Boston Common and the metro. Check out a pub on Joy street called the 12th amendment. Sean met us at the station and was a pleasure to deal with. The place is basic, but has rustic charm.

  Definitely would stay again. What u see is what u get, and if you are looking for a simple place to sleep and shower and save $ rather than spend money on a hotel, this is your spot! Sean was great. Thanks!!!

  Sean's basement apartment was perfect for my short stay in Boston for a conference. I just needed a place to crash and shower so it suited my needs well.
