  Our stay at Brent's place was fine. The room is very nice but small. The bed was great i.e. very comfortable. The living room is very nice too but the dogs seem to own the sofa. I do not have pets so the smell of animals is very obvious to me. The dogs bark when you come in but just for a minute so that is nice. Brent was so accommodating to us; he made sure that our weekend refreshed and rested us--helping us with travel plans, transportation needs, directions to great restaurants and shopping...he is wonderful and we felt blessed to know him.   Nice room with comfy bed in desirable area. Brent was very helpful. We arranged to have him pick us up from airport when we arrived and drop us off to pick up rental car for next leg of trip for a very reasonable fee. Hall bathroom worked out with no problem. Dogs are sweet. Brent accommodating and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!

  Had a great stay. Brent was more than accomodating. He gave us directions for taking BART into the city and then he picked us up at the station. Very nice! Very nice place. 10 minute walk to muni. Small grocery store is one block away for breakfast and coffee. The bed was probably the most comfy bed I've ever slept in !!!

  Great location, next to the castro district, 20 min by tram to downtown, very safe neighborhood, fantastic coffee shops near Brent's place, amazing dogs, and, last but not least, Brent, who always, patiently answered my questions, helped me out with my computer, let me used his printer!   I had the opportunity to stay at Brent's lovely home for a quick overnight. Brent was a great host, as were his pups (super cute doggies and very friendly). Brent was very nice and allowed me to arrive late. Room and bathroom were very clean, and bed was oh so comfy! If you prefer your own bath or a bath connected to your bedroom this might not be the right place for you. If driving, best to connect with Brent on parking before arrival. One night or many, this is a great find!

  Brent was a very friendly, personable host. I had a last minute complication and Brent even picked my mom up from the airport for me. The bed is oh-so-comfortable and there are several little nice details such as robes and slippers to use. Location is also wonderful. No need for a car.   Brent's house was beautiful and his two black cocker spaniels adorable. We enjoyed the neighborhood, too.... we opened two windows in the bedroom and were not disturbed by outside noise. Since the two bedrooms share a bath, it would be nice to have a mirror in the bedroom so ladies could do make-up and hair without hogging the bath. Otherwise, I'd say the room and bath were perfect. I would definitely stay at Brent's and recommend it to my friends heading to San Francisco.

  The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed very much walking up to the nearby Buena Vista Park then down to Haight Ashbury. Then continue to Golden Gate Park and visit the botanical garden there. Walk to the south to Castro is also pleasant experience and the underground there make going anywhere along Market St. fast and easy. Brent's house is one of the most beautiful home I ever visited. I especially like the kitchen and dinning rooms.

  I think Brent's home is georgeous. He is a caring and concerned host. When my travel partner became ill with allergies because of his cat, he had no problem cancelling our reservation (we stayed one night only.) However, I think he needs to mention the fact that he has a cat in his ad to avoid any future problems with this issue as it was very hard to secure other accommodations at this short notice.

We didn't have a chance to see much of the house, just dumped our luggage and headed out for a tour. The home was centrally located in a nice neighborhood and convenient to everything.   I and my wife spent comfortable days at Brent's house. The room is beautifully decorated, and the bathroom are clean. He prepared delicious coffee every morning. He is not talkative type, but a calm gentleman. He was always kind to us when we ask questions and requests such as cleaning our clothing. The access to the station is also good, but you have to climb up the hill when you go back, which is a good exercise and you might enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Bay area form the hill.
