I'm an architect, born in Europe, love traveling and meeting new people. I hope people enjoy staying at my place, however for certain people may be disappointing-the unusual, minimalistic, contemporary look. If you are a fan of traditional style you may not like it. I have experienced few complaints from previous tenants and I was a little disappointed. I think because I know how much afford and heart I put into this place. I love it; it reflects my personality, so if someone is not happy it almost hurts. I know my place still needs some details but I'm working on it. Any advice, comment from people is helpful to make my place more comfortable for everyone.
I wish i could make it perfect but I guess I cannot make everyone happy.
I only hope people will enjoy it and remember it well.

This condo is absolutely amazing! A group of girlfriends and I went there to celebrate an upcoming wedding and it was a perfect fit. Everything was clean, comfortable, and in great shape. The kitchen truly had everything we needed for a great get-together. The views are spectacular from the living room and especially from the roof deck. Fantastic apartment in a great building and a really good location for the beach and city centre, both within a few minutes walking distance. Roof deck is great and the shop at lobby level is very convenient. The spectacular shower was great after a day out. We were a family of 6 adults and not everyone liked the interior decor, but this was outweighed by the location, amenities, view etc. Overall excellent experience. I just returned from a 6 night stay at Monikas apartment. We had a great time. The location was in walking distance of everything but also very close to all public transport as well. The apartment was ver clean and comfortable.

I have just returned from a two night stay at Monika's apartment with my two friends. It couldn't be in a better location for Rush and Division Street and also the Magnificant Mile. There is also a train station within walking distance which takes you further into town. The apartment is great, very spacious and has everything that you need, way better then a hotel. Monika and her husband were also very helpful and I would highly recomend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit Chicago.

We enjoyed our weeks stay at Monika's apartment. It was quiet and provided enough space and privacy for our group of four adults. Getting a good cup of espresso in the morning was just perfect! It would be helpful to add a folder with instructions on how to use the modem, tv.. etc. as well as a local map and instructions to the closest supermarket, public transportation etc. Even us scandinavians would suggest adding one carpet to the livingroom for some morning stretch or yoga. We just returned from 3 nights in Monika's apartment. It was definitely worth it, since I had my 17 year old son, and adult daughter and her boyfriend. We couldn't have found a better place for the money at a hotel, where we would have needed at least 2 rooms or a suite. Everyone here could have their own room, the area is quiet, and yes the showers are magnificent, especially the master shower. The apartment's location made it easy to get to anywhere with a taxi. monika thanks for letting us stay in your amazing apartment! we had a great time loved the heated floors and master bath shower. great location to up north enough not to be to crazy busy but just close enough to take a cab or a walk to downtown...the only suggestions we have are have a coffee maker...put rods in closet...and add a baking sheet to your cookware collection...other than that it was wonderful would definately stay again!!!

I rented Monika's place for my son, his girlfriend and another couple. They enjoyed the place immensely and particularly commented on the view and the shower. The only negative remark was that the cable box was somewhat complicated but that was resolved and they needed more hooks for hanging clothing. Monika, thanks for a great stay for my family. Your apartment is so large and spacious, it is the perfect place for a family or group of friends to stay when visiting Chicago. The Lobby is so grand and warm, and with great contrast your apartment is very modern and sleek. My family enjoyed the view of the Lake, the proximity to both the city and north to where our family was living. Parking was convenient next door @ $28.00/night. Very great/modern condo with a lake/downtown view and excellent location. Condo has cable and internet access. Front desk staff is very friendly and willing to help with anything. We stayed here the first weekend in 10/09. Went to a Cubs game, Bears game, and enjoyed being able to walk to downtown or to the Red Line in a matter of minutes. Would definitely stay here again and hope to. Great communication from Monika and condo as described. Would highly recommend. Paid parking is a fair price... More »

This apartment is AMAZING in all aspects: cleanliness, comfort, location, everything. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and it has all amenities needed, even washer and dryer. The building itself is beautiful and vintage antique looking and the apartment is just a 2 minute drive from the Chanel store, Drake Hotel and everything else in town. I also have a very mixed review for our stay here the third week of September. There were three of us here on business and we thought it would be fun to stay out of hotels for a change. For $120 a night it would have been a great value IF everything had been as advertised, but it wasn't. I stayed here the second weekend of September 2009. The location was great!! the condo overall was great and very spacious. Walking distance everywhere. If you don't need a car...don't bring one, it's Chicago parking is difficult and can get expensive. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. 1 bathroom was not fully functional and the master bath had some leaking from the shower.
