My partner is an artist (rodneyewing.com) and is either working in his studio or teaching art at local colleges and school. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. We can guide you to our favourite restaurants and places around SF (mural walk, beach chalet, bike riding, dog parks).
I speak English, Spanish, Arabic, Hebrew, and American Sign Language. Have traveled and love visitors.
Our loft space is in a wonderful neighborhood, and Susan, who apparently didn't like my honest review of her stay with us, seems bent on retaliating with this negative review. We are a bit away from the commercial area of the Mission, which makes for a quieter neighborhood, but still close enough to walk to the multitude of nice restaurants all within 3 blocks of our home (Slow Club, Universal Cafe, Blowfish Sushi, Flour and Water) or, spend an evening at the Jay and Bee, a local pub on the corner, serving handmade pizza and salads, with a pool table and full bar, or a block away: Asiento, a tapas/cocktails place. Her other "complaints": camping level kitchen? Our newly remodeled kitchen is full-service with 6 cabinets full of kitchenware and appliances, All Clad pots/pans, full oven and stove, large refrigerator; see the photos and judge for yourself. Didn't like our flannel sheets (she was here in winter) she could have used any of the other clean sheet sets we have on the shelf. We usually have bar level counters in the dining area, but we brought in a wheelchair height table for her daughter (who uses a chair) to use at Susan's request. Susan inspected our place twice prior to renting it. She lives in San Francisco, so knows the neighborhood. I don't know why she rented from us if she were uncomfortable walking around this wonderful neighborhood at night.
