Hello , I am Janos .
I worked on cruise ship three times as a waiter and after some five stars Hotels ( hotel Hilton , hotel Marriott , hotel Intercontinental , hotel Four Season ) in Budapest .Because I love my job and I can meet many different guests from different culture I just thought I do my own Hotel .So at the moment I manage with my best friend Jozsef four self catering apartments and a classical B&B room . Hope my service can give many good memorable moments .

We were travelling as a company of 5 persons: 1 couple with 11yo kid and another couple and we were looking for a nice place to stay close to Budapest center. The hosts are very nice and caring. They suggested us several great places and cafes to visit during our stay. The appartment is clean and nice and it was very comfortable for 5 persons. PS There is a nice view on a stip-dance school in the building across the street (2nd floor). =)

Very nice location. This appartment is really in the center of Budapest. near by the Opera House. Also near by the metro station. You will enjoy if you stay there!

The apartment was nice and cozy, and it was perfect for our short trip to Budapest. Janos was very helpful and friendly, and he gave us good advice on where to go and how to get around. The location was great and we were able to walk almost everywhere. The apartment was very clean, and I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I spent two nights at Janos' flat with my in-laws and had an amazing time. Both Janos and Jozsef were very hospitable and gave us a map of the city along with advice on what to see and where to eat. The flat is in a great location near the train station and along one of the main metro lines. The only drawback was that the building was under construction at the time. All in all a great stay in Budapest. When we come back we'll be sure to stay with Janos and Jozsef again!

We were 4 people in this apartment: My wife and I, our grown up son and my elderly mother. We had plenty of space in this apartment and felt quickly comfortable. The location proved to be very good and we learned quickly the easy ways to get to the main points of interest in Budapest. Janos is a wonderful host with plenty of tips. He helped us to make our stay unforgettable.

Budapest ist eine Reise wert! Die Wohnung liegt zentral, ist geräumig und gemütlich, dazu gut ausgestattet. Nur wird aktuell leider das Gebäude renoviert, was Baulärm mit sich bringt. Dank der Unterstützung/Hinweise von Janos und Joszef haben wir viele schöne Stunden verbracht, vor allem sehr gute Restaurants besucht. Die Betreuung war sehr persönlich und besonders hilfreich - vielen Dank dafür!!!

Janos was a most gracious host. He helped us plan our stay by sitting us down upon our arrival and making excellent recommendations for what to see and where to eat. The apartment was comfortable, and simple, and the wifi worked. We also had a delightful day with him riding bikes out along the Danube, and through his facilitation, we were spontaneously invited to a wonderful open-air gulash picnic lunch with a very friendly group of Czechs. We had a wonderful time! Thank you, Janos.

Janos en Jozsef are super friendly hosts. They make delicious breakfasts with lots of fruit and wonderful cooking. They also gave us very useful advise about the city and were a lot of fun to talk to during breakfast. The room and bathroom are very clean, and the location is perfect: right in the city center. Definitely recommend this place!

My family and I had a great time staying in the apartment. The location is great and the apartment was very clean and nice. The big kitchen and dining table was important for us to be able to sit with our 3 kids and have meals at home. The rooms are airy and nice and they come with their own bathrooms. Janos and Jozsef were wonderful and generous hosts making sure we were comfortable. We will definitely be coming back to stay at one of their apartments in Budapest.

The apartment was beautiful and conveniently located to trains, trams. etc as well as tourist attractions. Janos was very good about giving helpful instructions to arrive at his place and points of interest once arrived. Janos was very attentive prior to arrival as well. He took the time to give us points of interest and off the beaten path for us to enjoy.

It was really a big pleasure to be at Janos' place. He's a very friendly person, as well as Joszef, both taking care of the appartments. They are helpful and both like very much to give informations about their city, or about good/interesting restaurants and about places that are not so well known by tourists. my husband and i enjoyed five lovely days in budapest at the end of may. janos and josef were the perfect hosts, concerned about our comfort and well-being. the apartment, located in an architecturally significant building is very comfortable, clean, quiet, and close to any thing you might need - cafes, bakeries, produce vendors, and grocers. the neighborhood, on the pest side of the danube - which i highly recommend - is peaceful and pretty; yet the apartment is two blocks from the trams... Janos was an excellent host with plenty of recommendations on restaurants and sites to see around Budapest. You can tell he is proud of his city and eager to share not just the tourist places but the little seen parts where people live. I opted to take a bicycle tour to see the villages north of Budapest with Janos as the guide. It was a full day of cycling, seeing the smaller villages, and learning about Hungary. Highly recommended.

We were in Budapest in May and stayed at the Sculptor B&B. It was a very homey, big, comfortable and clean room. The building is classic with a great view from the room, it is close to trains and buses, shops, banks and restaurants, and a short walk from all the main sights, and only a minute from the River Danube. This was my first visit to Budapest. I was traveling by myself and did not know anyone in the city. It was definitely worthwhile to stay with Janos and Jozef. The room is spacious and clean, and my privacy was respected. The location is very convenient, near the Danube and proximal to the sightseeing highlights. We had a great weekend! If you want to see Budapest from the citizin-perspective, you should definately stay with Janos! He does nice bike-tours as well and his breakfast was delicious.

The Room was very clean and sunny, and Janos is a very helpful host who will show you the best gypsy stations on the radio and whip up a delicious breakfast. I never knew how good sweet powdered paprika tastes on a fried egg. If you don't want to - Janos is still very very friendly and paprika is entirely optional!!

Janos and Jozef were great hosts. Not only was Janos extremely responsive with my initial questions, but checked in on me daily to make sure I was having a great time enjoying Budapest. The flat is clean, quiet, and very close to the metro in Budapest. I highly recommend Janos as a landlord and will do business with him again if I'm in Budapest!

This is a beautiful apartment. Quiet, clean, and walking distance to the Pest district of Budapest. Janos was a great host, who checked in on us daily to make sure we were enjoying Budapest to its fullest. He even spent most of a Saturday working with me to get Internet access restored to the room. The next time I'm in Budapest, I will definitely do business with Janos.

This apartment is wonderful! It really has the room to sleep six if necessary as one bedroom is very large, as is the living room. The kitchen table pulls out to fit at least 8. Best of all, the location is very good: close to transportation, the train station,places to buy food and restaurants. It is located one stairs up and in a typical apartment building with courtyard. We had a fantastic time at this B and B. Our hosts, Janos and Josef were incredible and made every effort to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, and most importantly, felt at home. I would highly recommend staying at one of Janos' places as he is a very inviting host. Upon arrival we sat down with Janos and went through our ideas for things to do in Budapest - having done very little research we found his advice to be amazing! Janos was a terrific host! He spent a lot of time with us when we first arrived, giving recommendations and guiding us, as this was our first trip to Budapest. I was traveling with my mother and sister, who were continuing on to Italy and needed laundry services. This is the review for our stay in IAGO APARTMENT IN HAJOS NEAR OPERA in September, 2010. Overall, we had a wonderful experience renting the place from Janos. We sent the inquiry the night before and got the confirmation in the next morning for a different apartment. Because we were on the road after that, we didn't receive Janos's second email regarding the change of apartment (previous renter decided to stay longer). The apartments my friends and I stayed at were spacious and within walking distance of all the major sights. Janos was great. He went well beyond what I expected, in terms of helping us get around Budapest. He was kind enough to set up bus/train tixs for us, and worked with the taxi service to make certain we would have a taxi waiting for us for the airport, even at 4am. I highly recommend working with Janos if you plan to visit Budapest.

I ended up with the whole apt on Eötvös Utca, instead of a room in the Sculptor B&B on Katona József Utca, which was great. Janos and Josef were gracious hosts, very professional, had tons of good suggestions. They really want to make sure that you like their city as much as they do. I found our short stay the apartment that Janos rented a delight. He was warm, genuinely proud of his city, and very thorough regarding any information we requested. it was georgous! Thank you for the many insider tipps. We enjoyed a lot. The apartment is located very close to duna in the jewish district, new leopold area, which is quite central but not touristic. Running in the margret island is a must! thanks a lot for your hospitality.

This was my sixth trip to Budapest. I wish that I had discovered Janos and his bed and breakfast on my first trip. The location of the flat is great! On one hand it is situated within walking distance of so many amazing Budapest experiences; on the other hand, for sights farther away, the tram stop is one block away with easy an connection to the subway.
