  This was the first time I used Airbnb and must say that it was easy to use and we found a great place to stay for the weekend. The cabin was very comfortable and is conveniently located that you can even walk to the slopes. We had a great time playing board games and numerous rounds of pool. The owner (Rand) was easy to get a hold of when needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

  We had a great time at the cabin! The place was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The location is really tough to beat being so close to the slopes, and parking was very convenient. I'd stay again! A few things to be aware of: The place was squeaky so the downstairs rooms could hear people walking upstairs, but that wasn't too big of deal.   Beautiful house with such a unique layout. We loved being able to walk to Bear Mountain. Rand was very communicative and accessible. The hose came off of the shower head on the 2nd day and he immediately sent someone out to fix it.

  This place is great! We really enjoyed our time in this charming cabin and would love to stay again. Close to lake, shops and minutes from Bear Mountain Ski Resort. Our host was very helpful and the cabin is tidy. I definitely recommend this rental.

  This cabin is so cozy and full of nice touches that make you feel at home. It's a bit of an odd layout, but that gives it character! Rand was super helpful. Had a great time!

  The cabin was great...on a nice slope so you can sled right outside the house. Cabin a bit creaky but that's kind of what you expect from wooden cabins. John 'Rand' Petrie was awesome at getting back to me with my many questions...and making his home feel like our own...

  This place was in great shape and John went out of his way to get things just right before our arrival. Finding some of the light switches was tricky but part of the adventure. Spa is large, clean, and very useful after a day on the slopes. No spiders in the house, which is not always the case in Big Bear cabins. Location is amazing - we walked to Bear Mtn easily. Easy parking for 2 or 3 cars in the snow, more if the other driveway is cleared (but not a good place to be caught in heavy snow).... More »
