I don't think I can add anything that hasn't been said in the other reviews, but I just want to reinforce how great Matt's place was for our trip! We walked everywhere, it was only 5 or 6 blocks to the downtown circle. The furnishings were a great match for us, we really appreciated the huge comfy bed and jacuzzi tub!
This was our first non-hotel stay, and it was SO much better we may never stay in a traditional hotel again!

There's not much to add to what others have stated about Matt's place. It's attractive, roomy, clean, inviting, and Matt is the perfect host. The location is fantastic; we enjoyed being about a mile from the center of town; instead we were next to Massachusetts Avenue, where there are fantastic restaurants, clubs, and walking/riding paths. On street parking was safe and not a problem.
Matt's place is filled with pictures from his world travels, as well as a wonderful collection of design and architecture books and magazines. It was a great stay and I highly recommend it for a get-away weekend.

I stayed at Matt Keedy's place in Indianapolis for a convention in August of 2010. It was wonderful, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Matt's description of the condo is understated...it is much nicer than he makes it out to be. He has a knack for decorating and we spend a good deal of time discussing the various artworks and collectibles that he has in the place. It's fun to stay at his home.
In addition, we were unprepared for how pleasant the neighborhood we were staying in was. There are pubs and restaurants literally outside the door and around the corner, a grocery store a short walk or drive away, and parking was not an issue. We were almost inclined to skip the convention and just enjoy the neighborhood, and each night we were eager to return to the comfort of the condo and to go out on the town.
Matt himself was a gem. He did everything he could to put us at ease and provided everything we needed. He is polite, responsive, and generous. Again, I'd recommend him to anyone.
If Matt's place works for you geographically, do not hesitate to contact him. It's a very nice place to stay, and he's a very nice individual to rent it from.

The perfect home away from home! Matt's place was perfect for our group. Close to neighborhood shops, bars, restaurants and even downtown. Matt was the perfect host, even though he wasn't there. He left brochures, maps, and info about the area. He really thought of everything! I would totally recommend his place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Indy. Thanks Matt!

Great place in a great location. Walking distance to many dining options, coffee shops and downtown area. Matt was a great host and took the time to show us around his place and explain what was around. Also gave us great recommendations on where to dine for the evening. I would definitely recommend his place to anyone looking to stay in downtown indy.
Thanks again Matt.

This is a charming condo in a splendid location. Matt is gracious and friendly and interesting, and all of this shows in his home. We were in Indy for the Final 4, which made hotels hard to come by, so we ended up at Matt's. The other reviews tell the whole story about the accommodation, so I will just add that we caught a cab from the airport (about $50.00 with tip), but, on the way OUT of town, we took the #17 bus from right in front of the condo straight into downtown, where we caught the #8 bus to the airport. $7.00 for both of us, and extremely efficient. Everyone on the bus was so friendly, too, every time we rode, no matter where in town we were. Also, one of the reviews below says that it is too far to walk into downtown, but we did it two or three times a day. The roads were closed off and buses and taxis were diverted from close in because of the HUGE crowds in for the basketball, leaving us no choice, really. It was a splendid walk, took us about 20 minutes one way. We walked back from downtown well into the wee hours and felt completely safe and comfortable. Maybe it was because the Final 4 was in town, but there were still tons of people about. Also, if you get lucky, you will be there for "First Friday", as we were, with all the local art galleries open for viewing. We hung out in Matt's neighborhood, eating, drinking and looking at funky art (funky!). Nice introduction to Indy and to Matt's cool neighborhood.
Wish I lived across the street from a pub that streamed English Premier League Football live at 6:00 in the morning!!!!! Lucky Matt! Thanks for an unforgettable weekend. (Would have been PERFECT if Butler had won!!)

Matt is the consummate host! Our trip involved three old college friends and roommates getting together for a reunion and a basketball game at Conseco. Matt was extremely communicative throughout our entire research and booking process. Once we arrived, Matt took time to show us around the condo, and point us in the direction of all the great places to eat, drink, and socialize in the "Mass Ave" area. It's an awesome location and very convenient to all parts of the city including downtown. Great trip, great place, and Matt is definitely a great host. Thanks for everything, Matt.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Matt's condo. The location is perfect - quiet, clean, historic part of Indy. We had no problem finding it, and we never had an issue parking right outside of his building. (Parking was free.) At no point did my wife and I feel uncomfortable out walking around. Early in the morning, late at night - it didn't matter. It's a nice area of town, and it feels safe and nicely-lit by street lights when it's dark out.
Matt's condo is within walking distance of several great dining options. We walked to Agio and had a fantastic dinner. After dinner we checked out a local sushi bar/night spot called 45 Degrees - Matt had suggested the place because it was smoke-free, not overly crowded, and within walking distance of the condo. What an excellent recommendation!
As for Matt's condo, it is very spacious. There is a large bathroom with a nice jacuzzi. The king size bed is also very comfortable. Matt left us with clean towels along with several other nice amenities you would expect at a 4 or 5-Star Hotel. There were drinks in his refrigerator he offered to us, along with food if we were interested in making breakfast (although we opted to walk to one of the local coffee houses he had recommended for breakfast instead).
One of the nice touches that helped my wife and I was that Matt left behind a little primitive hand-drawn map of the area around his condo. It simply laid out where different restaurants, bars, coffee houses, and stores were located in relation to his condo. Frankly it didn't matter that the map probably wasn't to scale - it helped us find the several places we wanted to walk. His condo is probably a little too far away to walk to downtown Indy. But it isn't a far drive - maybe a 5 to 10-minute drive/cab ride.
We would definitely highly recommend Matt and his condo to anyone who is looking to spend a night or two in Indy. It's truly a great bargain - more privacy and flexibility than what you would find at any nice downtown Hotel, at a fraction of the price. This was our first time renting out a condo from a private owner for a night rather than just renting out a hotel room, and at first my wife and I were both very hesitant on the idea. Maybe we've just seen too many crappy horror movies. But after having stayed there, and met Matt, I'm thrilled that my money went to him rather than some large corporate hotel chain. We will be back in the future.

I had an excellent experience. Matt was very friendly and helpful, and his condo was spacious and beautiful (as well as excellent location). I'd stay here again if I ever return to Indianapolis.
Highly recommended. Thanks Matt.

Second visit and things have changed. The construction noise is gone and all that's left is the beautiful condo and the gracious host. You'll have a fine stay here.

From our first communications with Matt, we have been extremely impressed with his professionalism, thoughtfulness and humor. His condo is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well located. We mentioned that we'd like to rent bikes while in Indy. When we arrived, he had procured 2 brand new bikes for our use, gave us a map of the city as well as a driving tour to point out routes, restaurants and points of interest. He left us a note with pertinent information (including the number of a taxi service), and let us know how to reach him in case of questions. Like a fine hotel, there were some lovely touches: classy soaps and travelers' shampoo for our use. On our last evening he invited us to a dinner party and we met some of his wonderful friends and got to enjoy his humor and stories at greater leisure. In short, a perfect host and a memorable stay. (By the way, we're light sleepers and enjoyed very peaceful sleeps--no construction noises during our 5 night stay.)

Very attractive condo in an area becoming hip and/or fashionable. Light sleepers should consider bringing ear plugs because of ongoing construction in the neighborhood; the noise isn't bad at all, but people who have trouble sleeping should be aware.
