Married to Renie. Have 9 children but most have left home, I work in Carmarthen about 50 minutes drive away. Originally from the USA, we have been in Britain since 1980. Moved to beautiful Wales in 1998. Lovely spot and have bikes you can borrow as on the listed cycle route. Near the Ceredigion Coastal Path. Famous for spotting seals and dolphins in the summer

Alex and Renie are fantastic hosts. They made us feel extremely welcome and went to extra lengths to ensure we were comfortable. Their farmhouse is lovely; if the skies are clear, make sure you take time to gaze at the stars which are simply amazing. The hearty farmhouse breakfast Alex cooked for us in the morning set us up for the rest of the day! Thank you very much!

Alex and Renie were absolutely wonderful hosts-- very warm and welcoming. They picked me up and dropped me off from the bus when I got into town and were very helpful with suggestions, recommendations and bus routes throughout my stay. The farmhouse was cozy and located near the coast with lots to do close by. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a great time staying at Alex and Renie's farmhouse. They are very nice people to chat with and were helpful pointing out the best places to visit and eat in the area. Location wise, the surroundings are fantastic and the farm is only a couple miles away from the coast. Would highly recommend the place if you happen to be in the area!!!

Alex and Renie were great hosts and although it was a short stay they looked after me very well. Alex cooked some of delicious eggs from their chickens for breakfast. They have a lovely old Welsh house and it was a welcome cosy place to stay on a windy Welsh night. Thanks Alex and Renie

Alex and Renie were the most affable hosts. They really made us feel more than welcome and a part of their lovely family. Their home is located in a beautiful part of Wales with stretches of lush green and gorgeous coastline. Not only did they open their home to us, but they cooked amazing breakfasts and stoked a fire to keep us warm. The highlight was definitely the trampoline and most beautiful, floral farewell. Alex, Renie, and family are charming hosts with lots of good information about their region. The Old Stone Farmhouse is lovely. While quite old on the outside, the interior is clean and modern. The full farm breakfast was the best that we had on our 14 day trip in the UK. We wish we could ahve stayed longer.

My husband and I loved staying at the Stone Farmhouse in Felinwynt with Alex, Renie and their very creative family. We immediately felt welcome and right at home. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The view from our room of the stone buildings, beautiful fields and a horse or two was a welcome change from the busy streets of London. Alex and Rennie with their family excelled themselves to make us feel like one of the family on their small farm. Even Toulous, small pet dog, was friendly towards us. The bedroom was spacious and clean as was the bathroom with a full bath. We were even allowed to cook our own meals which was a bonus for us weary travellers being on a budget. If you can tolerate the small lanes to gain access to their place you won't regret it. The township is only a short distance away.

Alex and Renie are truly amazing people! They were extremely hospitable and were very much fun be around! Alex's breakfast was everything you could possibly ask for, and then some. What a lovely, relaxing, amazing, wonderful place. The owners were so welcoming and made me feel at home and looked after throughout my stay. They cooked a fabuous breakfast with fresh laid eggs and offered maps, guides, tips and use of bikes. It's close to several lovely beaches, coastal walks, restaurants and beautiful countryside. I couldn't imagine a more peaceful, tranquil place. Thank you Alex and Renie :)
