I'm (Joanne) due to come to NYC for SIACH social justice conference and I thought I'd take a bit of extra time before it to show my (NYC virgin!) boyfriend, Alex, around the fabulous city.

About us: I'm a charity professional and he is real life London black taxi driver. We've been together for 2 and a bit years and we're both in our early(ish) 30s so eminently sensible.

We already have our flights booked, so just waiting to find a great place to stay!
