I am a nearly-29-year-old recent transplant (from Chicago) to Brooklyn, NY. I am the East Coast Marketing lead for Yelp.com, a website that connects people (and travelers!) with great local businesses. I have a 9 year old melancholic pitbull mix named Tillie who is vying to be featured on hipsterpuppies.com (hipsterpuppies.tumblr.com) especially since we've relocated to BK. I travel and host (when possible!) and dig sharing local info, most definitely.

A great 3 day stay in Chicago even though it was the coldest day of the year. Very welcoming host. Cats were absolutely adorable. Very convenient to public transportation. Lovely apartment. Great all round experience. We highly recommend it! We'll be back in warmer weather! Colleen and Michael

Jerome and I stayed at Colleen's place for 5 days and it was fantastic! We are diffenately going to be staying here again!! (if Colleen will let us?) LOL! It is the perfect location and so easy to use the transit going downtown to the Loop! We had a great time and Colleen is more then helpful answering any questions! :) ps, The cats are so cute and friendly. :)

Colleen was an excellent host! She is very sweet and helpful and she even left us breakfast! The pictures do not do her apartment justice. It was clean and comfortable and conveniently located. As first time users of Airbnb, it was an excellent experience and we cannot wait to use it again. Lastly, her cats were lovely :)

For my first experience with airbnb I must say staying by Colleen's was awesome, my boyriend had his hesitations but her place was aboslutely warm (cats r simply too adorable), clean and perfect location, I will defo return and recommend her place to friends! Thank you so much Colleen.

We were very pleased with our stay. Arranging booking, check-in and check-out was easy and Colleen graciously answered a number of practical questions we had about staying in Chicago. The apartment was even nicer than the photos show and was clean, well-appointed and is - as promised - a great location for central Chicago.

This was an all-around great experience. Colleen was friendly, accommodating and responsive. Her apartment is very cute and artfully decorated (we loved her chic but laid-back decor). The apartment is in a nice neighborhood. We were able to find free street parking and had a very easy time getting downtown as well. The lake is an easy walk from the apartment. I would definitely recommend staying here, and I hope to do so again the next time that I'm in Chicago.

Colleen is the best! So lovely! Considerate with communication, super clean and very warm hearted. I felt so comfortable with our communication that I did something I never do....I left keys with our doorman and she let herself in. Everything was smooth and easy.
