South Zion has all the class of a 5 Star Hotel - A newer home with all the comforts of life: hot water, clean bathrooms, wireless internet, heat, a/c, comfortable beds, laundry, open floor plan and easy access to the kitchen. Plenty of peace and quiet with no distraction. Carl was the perfect host and tour guide with extensive knowledge about the area and little known trails to hike. If you want to get away from it all OR just passing through, I highly recommend staying at South Zion.

Given the timing of my stay, so close to the Christmas holidays, I wasn't sure if the Carl would be excepting guest. I pleased to say I arrived to a warm welcome from genial host Carl. I travel by motorcycle and its important that my bike is safe. So I was happy to find the property has plenty of secure off street parking. The large room, with choice of double beds, was clean and comfortable. A TV, complete with a DVD player and good selection of movies was a nice bonus, as was the cosy electric blanket. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, lots of hot water and a tub to soak in after a long cold day on the bike. Carl has lived in the area most of his life, so his knowledge of the best trails to hike and bike and local motorcycling routes are second to none. South Zion is perfectly placed for visiting the nearby National Parks. I highly recommend Carls "Polygamy Tour" of nearby Colorado City. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, I originally planned to stay 1 or 2 nights, it ended up staying 6!

You will be pleasantly greeted and graciously treated when you choose this as your stay. Whether you wish to be left alone or have a tour guide, your wish will be granted. Accommodations are very nice, in this private home located near awesome scenery. Highly recommend taking tours with the best tour guide EVER to spots you will want to revisit. My experience was so great, I HAD to come back . . . you will, too! And bring the family!
