I am from Argentina, I lived in in NY for 6 years and 15 days ago I moved back to Buenos AIres. I am a fashion designer. I am now in Paris on vacations and going to Berlin with my boyfriend. I was told that Berlin is a lot like NY and as I got tired of NY, I think I might like Berlin as my next destination:)

I stayed at Agustina house for five night and I'm very happy about my stay there. She made me feel comfortable from the beginning to the end and gave me lots of information about the city. The apartment is not big but ideally located in the middle of East Village, a joyfull neighborhood, safe, full of bars restaurant, clubs, shops.... And less than 10mn walking to Union Square. I chose to stay with Agus for the location, the price, and the wifi. All of things were great, as was my host — she was charming, welcoming, and flexible. But I would not recommend this place to a friend and did not particularly enjoy my stay here. I think it is perfectly fine value for the price range, but there were things I did not like. Agustina was lovely. Not only was she a great host, she was also flexible and interested in if whether or not her guests were having a good time. We would certainly stay with her again.

Augustina is a perfect guest. If you are looking for a 5 stars rooms, it's not the place, but if you want a quiet place to sleep in a great neighboroud (restaurant, bar around) and enjoying speaking with a great guest ! You should go !

My friend and me had a great time in East Village at Agustina's house.Small but confortable room very well located near subway and near the nicest pubs restaurants of the area. Agustina is friendly, nice person who gave us lots of suggestions

Agustina was friendly, helpful and responsive from the get-go. She made sure I found her place and settled in easily. The location may be better suited for one/two people. Having an Aircon helped on one of the warmer nights. It's easy to access the subway and local entertainment.

My friend and I stayed with Augustina for 2 weeks and had a blast. Our bedroom was small but there is an air conditioner and also a fan. There is enough space to put two suitcases in the bedroom and some room to hang clothes. The two of us slept comfortably. I had the best stay.. The room was small and cosy but very comfortable! The air conditioner and fan was a life save during the July heat wave! Both kept the room cool at night and comfortable to sleep! Agus was very welcoming and helped me out when I needed to check in early! Always available on email.. Agustina's apartment is cute and in a great area of the East village. The apartment is small and up a few flights of stairs so be prepared for that if you have alot of luggage like I did. Luckily Agustina's friend who met me to give me the keys helped me with my bags. NYC was super hot when I was there (i'm talking 102 degrees) and I struggled to sleep at night even with all the windows open. However I had everything I needed and overall had a great stay. I absolutely loved staying at Agustina's little nest on the Lower East Side. Never having stayed there before, it was a facinating weekend and I was inspired by new muse, Agustina. While we never met, she was away in Argentina, she staying in constant communication with me, facilitating key pick up, etc. Her place, all white walls, hard wood floors and magnificent tall windows with street views and across from a wonderful historic building was the perfect launch pad for my writing sojourn. I flew in late on a Friday night and having a bed waiting was the most wonderful thing in world after a long day of traveling. I didn't get to meet Agustina in person because she was out of NY but her apartment was cozy, a bit hot for my taste but I'm from Alaska. The place was easy to find and Agustina was always easy to reach. If I ever travel back to NYC I'll hopefully be staying here again.

We booked the apartment because we thought it will be nice to see the city throw “native” eyes. It turned up that Augustina went for a backpack trip.. So we were with another guy at the apartment whom she rent the other room (I have to say we didn’t see a lot of him). Good location, close to metro and shops. Quite disappointing apartment overall if you're not a backpacker, and you're travelling with family. The whole building is in poor conditions and smelly, the apt was definitelly dirty, like it had no vacuum cleaning in this century, as well as sheets not properly tidy. Kitchen is from the 80´s and restroom is definitelly tiny. Didn't meet Agustina but her friend Jimena who was nice and friendly, but I wouldn't stay there again!

The apartment is very good located, close to stores, metro and East vilage. The room is small but comfortable and quiet and I felt really comfortable. I couldn't meet Agustina because she was in Europe but her friend Jinmena who cared of the place during her trip was really friendly.

Agustina is really nice and the location is great. You wouldn't find a better hotel for that price. So if you like flat sharing it is the best place. You should like dogs too, because a lot of dogs are living in the building. They are sweet though.

Agustina is an excellent host, and the place is a great hole-in-the-wall, strategically near a Metro stop, walking distance to tons of places, and it felt like a pretty safe neighborhood. The bedroom is small but cozy, perfect for a short stay, especially for one person. The building is quiet and was warm even during a snowstorm. Highly recommended -- would stay there again.

My husband and I had a great stay at Agustina's. Location is really convenient and close to all. Although the room and apt is small (very lower east side) it's great if you just need a place to shower and rest. Agustina is very welcoming and easy to deal with. We felt comfortable with her and in the apt right away!

Location is perfect if you want a real New York experience. East village has a great nightlife and Agustina's place is in a great position. Not noisy at all, walking distance to subways, warm & cosy and of course a perfect host. Agustina is lovely and always willing to help. The room is small, don't expect to have any parties in there. Though Agustina welcomes you to her whole apartment. I had a great time there and would love to stay there again.

Agustina is lovely, very warm and comfortable. The room is super quiet and comfortable too, though very small. The apt is pretty basic east village, centrally located, close to all kinds of interesting shops, bars, restaurants. Would highly recommend unless you're super fussy.

Agustina's apartment is in a great area, so its easy to get everywhere in a short amount of time. The room is cosy and comfortable. She was a great host and helped me with any questions I had about New York. I would definitely stay there again. Great location! Agustina was super sweet the one and only time we saw her when we arrived. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. The comforter on the bed was a little small for two people but we were thankful to have a private room, it was very cosy. Thanks Agustina! We love your neighbourhood.
